You can’t Just guard Unblockables (red move) but it’s always been like that the newest thing you can’t just guard is Shinso’s brainwashing

actually yes its easier to just guard in the air as you dont need timing any attack that hits you while in the are if guarding is an automatic just guard

I keep pressing the R button right as the opponent attacks but it won't work. I can only do a regular guard...

It was the same for me for a long time just keep practicing try and press R half a second before the attack hits

I don’t think so with the update a few characters got there jabs sped up so some of the timing might be a little bit different but most of the roster should still be the same :)

bro i thought i was doing something wrong and i was just so ass i couldn’t just guard but it’s bc i was holding the r1 button and not tapping it🥲 now i can just guard the normal combos i feel so dumb lol

I did the same thing for the longest time once I figured out it’s a tap not a hold everything became easier
