As a young nurse un 1972 l helped a grandma make small pom-poms. We glued on felt beaks, eyes, feather wings and tails. The finished little birds were hung from a branch as a mobile for a new grandchild.

Some great ides there - thanks. I tried to get my Dad to do jigsaws, at first he wasn't interested, but I chose one of his favourite topics, the HMS Endeavour, a famous old sailing ship, we kept at it for ages, but towards the end, his inability to see different shades of blue brought him unstuck, as the top third of the jigsaw was a cloudless sky! The next one I've lined up is of Durham cathedral, another of his all time favourite things - we'll be starting that one tomorrow. The first puzzle was 1000 pieces, so I've dialled it back to 500 for the next one, so it doesn't seem as daunting - (for both of us)🙂

My mom enjoys flowers so I grew lots of flowers for her to cut and arrange. She also like to clean the vegetables that I grow in her garden. I usually pull the carrots and green onions give them a quick wash and leave them on the counter for her to clean.

So glad I stumbled upon your video, I’ve been searching for new activities for my aunt. I’ve just ordered one of the 13 piece puzzles and plan to order the Re-usable paint pages. Thanks for sharing.

I got my dad the water coloring on boards to paint. Seems like he likes tbese the most. He destroys them somehow. Also, he doesnt have to use many brain cells. I think coloring is better with pencils. My dad did sort some rubberbands and paperclips some. Thank you!

Let’s not forget that in the later stages, they tend to put anything that can fit into their mouth. You’d be surprised how quickly it can happen.

Thanks for your comment. This video is one of my earliest, and I definitely didn't have the best equipment! I have a new microphone that should help improve the sound quality on newer videos. Thanks for watching!
