Shawn I came to Red Rocks Church 3 weeks ago I moved close to Lakewood and your church is close to my home. I looked you up I remember my sons friend told me go to Red Rocks Church. The first sermon touched me the excitement your praise and worship was so amazing my Husband and I are here to stay with you. You being so open with your struggles and how hard it is your honesty with everyone. Your testimony on your journey to come to our Lord is raw real. Pastor Shawn, I wish I knew the words that would truly express to you how your brokenness and vulnerability and your obedience to God to share it with the world has literally saved my life and turned my life around. It’s too much to put in this comment but I found you online a couple years ago on “accident” around midnight on a Tuesday night, a night that I was planning on taking my life. Life had gotten too hard, I was tired of fighting and hurting and just didn’t feel like I could do it anymore. That’s when God put you on my phone, you were crying and sharing your story about the night you pulled over on the highway. It was your story that changed everything for me and I could never thank you enough for being you, for being real and being honest. Thank you for not giving up Pastor Shawn because God used you to save my life. I’m a single mom of a terminally ill little girl, and it was your story that gave me the strength to keep going and to accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I have rededicated my life to God and today I am a new person, I love my life, I have a very close relationship with God and I now thank God everyday for choosing me to be the mommy of one of his special little angels instead of being angry at God and blaming him for the condition of my baby girl. What I thought was a curse turned out to be the biggest blessing I could have ever been given. I could never thank you enough for just being the REAL you. I love you and appreciate you!

❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤love this love you 😘 just love everything and God loves you too! Thank you for now. You are a testimony for others that are struggling with that at the same time. I’m extremely I’d say depressed, but I feel numb. Lots of trauma and ups and downs, and I recently left my partner who was mentally and physically abusive. long story short, my son and I and I’m a single parent now in our own apartment! And I am so incredibly grateful to be able to do this even through all my money struggles and job loss all the things. I am truly grateful. My son is literally my main miracle! He is just absolutely fabulous and all of his little wonderful ways. But he was my miracle child. being told I wouldn’t have him, carry him, his dad had a vasectomy, his dad shot himself and took his life when I was three months pregnant, my son being in the hospital me being a pregnancy all the stuff we are finally building our lives again. But I still feel very numb. I just, really hope I can become resilient and happy again. I just wish I can start feeling happier and the inside that other people see on the outside. God knows me, he knows my struggles and I know I truly know that he is the one that is caring me through all of this and trying to make me see my worth. I know it will happen, but I’m praying for it every single night. God bless this wonderful pastor that I’ve been, watching more and more every day every night. It’s you and him alike that Help so much and just goes to show you just how strong the power of God and in his faith. Thank you for being vulnerable and now becoming a testimony! I hope and pray that God touches everyone of you and anyone that comes up looking for whatever it is that they need that they receive his name. Thank you, God amen. Im struggling. The enemy is accusing Gods faithfulness day and night and truth is I am doubting God as a good father in my life. Ive experienced so much pain, betrayal and disappointment year after year. I cant turn from God but I cant continue living in this brokenness. Im typing this just as an act of faith. Father I need You to embolden me.. I cant do this anymore on my own. I need my hope to be restored..
