I love how organized you are! We don't have to keep records but I do have each kid keep a notebook each year just in case. it's just organized with page dividers by subject.
@LifeintheMundane4 жыл бұрын
We used to do that as well I just ran out of space for all the kids notebooks lol so I decided to condense it.

This is so helpful, because even though in Illinois we don’t have to keep records I am considering it just in case.

Yeah it is not require here either but I think it is important to do regardless. It never hurts to be prepared.

Would you recommend creating a homeschool binder even if with a charter school?
@LifeintheMundane Жыл бұрын
I would bc it’s just an extra layer of protection and a fun way to keep memories from the year.

I LOVE all the things you do in your homeschool and how organize your portfolio is I would definitely be saving this video and even though we do grade testing for our evaluations now I still would love to continue making portfolios for my own records.

Mrs. Mom’s Homeschool I love it because it’s for records but it also makes such a fun memory binder.

Fantastic! Thank you! I need to organize my records better, and I am going to try a few things you suggest. I like the idea of putting things on disk in the binder. I am terrible at printing pictures
@LifeintheMundane5 жыл бұрын
sabatham yeah plus there are just way to many pics to store if I printed them all.

@@LifeintheMundane I have all ours organized on the computer, but I think a disk is so perfect! I have loads of rw disks, too! Not sure why I didn't think of it before!

Our law doesn’t need a profile until 7 did u keep profiles on your early years before 7 ?
@LifeintheMundane5 жыл бұрын
Simply Raising Arrows I think my oldest was either 6 or 7 when we started but I do keep records of the early years now and honestly my advice would be start young bc there is such a big learning curve. Your records will get better so you don’t have to start now but if you do, your records will be in much better shape by the time your legally required to have them. But definitely don’t stress over it now.
