We are sustainable beekeepers. We catch feral swarms and hive them. We split successful colonies and allow them to raise their own queens. We harvest swarm queen cells in the spring and make new colonies.

Coldest weather we have had in many years. Bees toughed it out thanks to extra insulation on top and Hive Alive fondant!
