as a community manager of one of the biggest 13+ roblox communities, I would say it is 100% necessary for kids to turn on account protection, the demographic of active players is now an increasingly higher age group, and roleplaying is popular, therefore lewd humor can consistently happen, if your kid or you are 12-, account protection is very important.

Be so careful on social media there are so many bad people in the world that will try and ask you personal information about yourself such as your phone number, your home address, your name, where you live, even how old you are never ever tell anyone those answers unless you know that person IRL this world is full of scary rude people that will try and kill you. You have to be so careful out in this scary world. I am a teen. Here is my review 1.) The person here has no clue about the Internet. 2.) I am doing GSCE computing so I think I have a good perception on this. Here are frequently asked questions How do I know my child is safe? - Your child responsibility is a big factor, if they have little understanding of predators online then I recommend you don't allow them to play it BUT if they do and are age 8+ I would recommend my grades went from a B to an A. What part of roblox will educate mu children?- Your child has a variety of safe fun games for them. Eg. Work at pizza place where everyone needs to work together to deliver a pizza. There is cashiers, cooks, pizza boxers, delivery and supplier. And if your child is above 12 he Could start to develop roblox games learning how to create roblox games and they can make real money out of making games. My child bought in game currency without my consent what do I do and how do I prevent it? - Use a strong password and don't store your bank details remove them every time you make a payment. And educate your kids kn the value of money. Maybe buy the 99p one if you want to that give you plenty of outfits. Who can contact me kids on roblox- This depends on the parental controls. You can turn off chat and you can make only friends talk to to you either. What is robux? - Robux is a in-game currency used to buy items in roblox eg. Hair shirts and trousers. This is how roblox make money. They only have ads for roblox games so your child can't get ads for adult websites. I simplified this to make sure parents understand I, can used much more advanced language than this.

It's usually just a bluff. It's difficult to actually "hack" people just from playing with them on roblox. It's usually older kids trying to look cool saying they can hack someone, or some people threatening to hack if a girl doesn't show them pics. As long as you have a good password on your accounts, and you don't tell anyone your login information you should be fine. Does that help answer?

My 6 year old son has been playing Roblox since he was 4 and he’s fine . One of the great things about not being able to read yet is I often get .... Daddy someone sent me a text .... would you answer it for me .... sure son .... Dear Kind Sir or Madame .... you are speaking to the 5’10” 200 pound trained martial artist professional offshore north atlantic giant tuna fisherman father of a PRESCHOOLER ....who will someday but not today be able to answer ALL his texts himself ....da’ ya’ catch mah’ drift .... that being said play nice with him and all will go well . 😎 Oh yeah and robux are easy grandpa pays $0.05 USD for every correct math problem and Daddy pays $0.01 for pushups , crunches , leg lifts , weights lifted etc... He’s also great at washing the tight spots on our boats where blood , oil , seaweed and dead squid etc. can get but us bigger boys can’t And market rate for every saleable fish ( or baitfish ) he catches . Which adds up to hundreds of real bucks a week . My buddies and I Gotta pay someone for boat cleaning and bait ... might as well pay him . My ( Chinese ) wife’s buddies love when he pulls his lobster traps or comes in with a bucket of Black Sea Bass or a Striped Bass on Saturday afternoon 😎🐟

Heard my kids talking about knives and killing. That's enough. You can't keep an eye on what they are doing all the time. So it's no longer going to be allowed in any form. Even an apparently harmless game was giving me reasons to be concerned. One game seemed to be about creating a figure with nice or nasty features and then it would be judged by others on its attractiveness or nastiness. Just the sheer premise of the game was alarming to me. With there being thousands of games I feel I can't let them on roblox. The kids are having behavioral issues and though I'm not blaming these on roblox they are not helping. Enough is enough.

Go in your kids roblox settings and change some stuff. And also it's 8+ anyways, if they follow the age limit they can probably handle light killing and if they can't they should know to not play.

@@nelestially Actually the kids were my nephews. With the lock down I've not been able to keep in touch. Have had to leave it up to the parents. Unfortunately now there is so much content available to kids less than 10 which is not suitable even the transformers films have very violent and dodgy content. Ffs when bumblebee is effectively seen pissing on a man and it gets past censors the gaming industry can get away with virtually anything.
