I have 4 motion activated cameras/floodlights and a loud barking dog (from the camera) and it absoloutly does not bother them I have the proof when I replay my night videos

My back yard is only grass and a few non-flowering shrubs. I have skunks that always dig in the same place. After getting rid of them in a past I have a new one that dug up half my yard. It's the biggest one I've ever seen. The only thing I can say is I've been pretty close to it and it hasn't sprayed me.

Skunks can be a problem if you grow sweet corn in your garden.....they love it! I do not grow sweet corn and have no skunk issues. I do have problems sometimes with yellowjacket nests in the ground in our yard. Skunks dig up the nest and eat em up!

Skunks in Playa Del Rey can be seen at all hours of the day & night! I trap neuter & spay cats and no matter what time of day or night, they’re around. Some videos for skunk proof feeder says they can’t climb or jump high, but yep…my robo skunks are excellent climber. It’s not because I leave food out. Only when the cat shows up, but as usual skunk shows up too! Really frustrating.

I think ill try the light idea if i find bright solar lights that are motion activated. My dog has been sprayed twice since april. Today, she tried to kill it. It seemed alright after the encounter. If anyone is wondering, i use an entire bottle of hydrogen peroxide 3%, 1/4 baking soda, and 2 tsp of dawn dish soap. Works well, but i do the process a few times in one day to be thorough.
