Hi Sally, It is extremely kind and humane to keep Mabel comfortable during your hike in your surroundings. It shows compassion, love and caring for your dog, which many of us can use as an example for us all. The dog was literally shivering during the video where she shows how to keep her warm lol. I find my dogs ears get cold but they don't want them covered. Was tempted to make like a little sleeve for the ears haha.

Milo, my chiweenie, loves to camp and run around the woods. I could never leave him at home. I live in Louisiana though. It doesn't get very cold and never snows. He's good as long as the sun is out. At night he climbs in the sleeping bag with me and all is well.

Hey Sally, at first I thought maybe you had one of those electric hand warmers tucked in there, then I thought, well, maybe one of those little electric blankees with batteries...but I like the thought of those little packets since you can regulate the heat for her...she's so adorable!
