you should be fine to get away with using the kickoff tee but in games you won’t use that so if you can get a holder and tee then that would be even better!

Ok I’m a kicker I only have one thing that you said that I don’t like... it is the tilt of the ball your ball does not have to be tilted... or it can be tilted in anyway bc your holder will not always get the ball on the block at that angle... so practice at every angle possible

+Aesculapius The Doctor it's all depends on the angle of your foot and the angle of tilt on the ball when you make contact. everyone is different, different in the way they kick so i or someone else would need to see a video of it

Im a high school kicker who’s committed to UCF... most of the responses aren’t that accurate. It’s literally you trying to kill the ball. Also the contact off your foot. Be sure you lock your ankle and point your toe. Also when you follow through make sure your leg goes straight and not across your body. Also your steps are big. find your steps just stand wherever that feels natural. Tap the ball a few times and whatever spot feels good and gets that good contact consistently mark it. Then figure the steps on how to get there. Lastly that bone in top of your foot step on it till it hurts so you know where you need to make contact. Then you do a “no step” kick the ball with you ankle locked toe pointed and hitting that bone. Do all that I promise you you’ll get end over end kicks all the time.

Pause the video before going to time stamp then hit play and watch his plant foot (6:05) as you may realize his plant foot the one he put beside of the ball is bent. To avoid injury and to be more consistent keep that plant leg locked at all times to prevent torn ACL tears and to be more consistent. Thank you for your time. Hope this helps!! Have a great day! Idk if anyone will see this, but I have been kicking for a about 1 year. Kicking straight off the ground, my long is 33 yards at the moment. I turned 14 about 6 months ago, and I’m in 9th grade.
