You're really an example for people who want to run an online business nowadays. You offer a lot of value for free, not only the tutorials but also free flps and free sounds, and then you show that your paid content has even greater value to offer, and this way you can easily win costumers that know that you can really solve problems for them. As of me, I've got into hardstyle production quite recently after a decade of making techno and house music, so even if I do design leads and pads myself and I can handle the screeches, the kicks have been quite a struggle. I'm buying the two criminal rawstyle packs and I can't wait to have more kick packs or hardstyle packs to buy! You definitely won a lifetime customer right here, thanks for the amazing job!

I've been using FL Studio for a long time & I know how to do everything you're doing but my biggest difficulty is the arrangement & how they achieve this. How do you kick roll if you dont want to use bounced samples but live pitching in nimble? I have got hundreds of kicks to test in a song, it would make sense to have an automated process to swap between them with the song layout of pitching punches all over.

Great question! One thing you could do is create the kick roll, and just limit to 5-8 kick variations max. Then just select all these samples and drag and drop them to the side of the project (in the playlist). If you want to change the kicks, then at least you can quickly drag and drop another kick onto all the used kicks in the kick roll. This is not super fast, but applying the methods of this tutorial (compared to nimble) does give you the most creative options and the best sounding results.

why do you put the kicks in the FL playlist and not channel rack? is it because its easier to work with and edit? i noticed its not as loud in the channel rack too

If you’re making beats/house drums for example, it’s a bit easier. But with hardstyle it’s easier to visually see your kicks so you can tweak them, add some kickrolls etc. The loudness has to do with your mixer levels! 🙌

Whatever works for you, is the best method of course! For me personally, I like to see very clearly where a sample is playing, which is much more easy and visible in the playlist compared to using the pattern. But each has it's upsides of course... 🙂

Nimble Kick by NimbleTools is a 3th party plugin that allows you to add pogo to a kick. In any other scenario, you don't really need pogo but it's a pretty cool effect! :)
