Cool. Ok so what does it do? I think it'd fill up with mud and sand frequently. Looks good though.

Thank you for the inquiry. The system is designed to run a flow of constant water through it. One benefit is the physiological advantages to the diver when using hot water when diving in water colder than 34 °F (1 °C). It is designed to be integrated with a hot water supply to help maintain breathing gas temperature at a level acceptable for use by the diver. Even with water temperatures at 34 °F (4 °C) or slightly above, the diver can experience discomfort and severe heat loss through the respiration process. Heating the diver’s gas is especially important in cold water and/or when breathing mixtures of helium and oxygen. If NOT diving in cold water and NOT using a Hot water machine a flow of constant water can create a water barrier inside the shrouds from the surrounding water. If not using a constant water supply either/hot of normal temp, it is not recommended to use the shrouds, as debris and/or contaminants could possibly add time and energy to your Post Dive procedures.

@@KirbyMorganDiveSystems Constant water flow keeps debris and contaminants out. Warms the valves of the helmet to prevent freezing and keeps the heat loss to a minimum. Pretty smart. Thank you for answering me.
