you can put a small (ziploc) bag with pennies or pebbles in that heel/tow to help hold it down - this was where the term penny socks came from, the pennies where used as weights. you might need to reseat or slightly bend down that right side of the knitting retainer if it keeps catching the needles (it could be the sponge bar is on its way out)

Thank you for this wonderful clear tutorial! I am a beginner and I saved your video! I need to watch it again and again. I love how you were able to deal with the extra fabric of the heel and toe without having to hang dozens of weights. They seem to get in the way and make seeing what’s happening difficult. Is the toe graft under the foot irritating?

If you will do it in the best and sophisticated way. So will not be irritating at all. But if you knit the shape of toe and heel on the same line i.e. right side. Then the grafting will come to the top of the toe. Thank you very much for watching and liking the video.
