There are two kinds of Christians, those that are spiritual and those that are carnal. Spiritual meaning regenerate, and carnal meaning unregenerate. If mature means to be complete, or perfect, this would describe the spiritual Christian, who has overcome the world, while the carnal Christian is still a babe, bound by sin and still serving sin. Of whom a man is overcome, of the same he is brought into bondage. This does not mean that the babe in Christ is not saved, but is given mercy and grace to overcome the world. If there is no sinless perfection by the new covenant Heb10, there is no new covenant as promised in Ezek36, whereby God promised he would cause his people to walk in his statutes and to keep his commandments, by reason of the new birth, a new heart and a new Spirit. Also, If there is no sinless perfection, there is no return of Christ, because he is returning for a church without spot, without wrinkle. And every man that has this hope in him purifies himself, even as he is pure. None are willing to acknowledge that they are babes, as they have not yet crucified the flesh and the lusts thereof, this is just fleshly pride, hindering the apprehension of the grace God gives the humble, to walk in his statutes and to keep his commandments. If we are guilty of one sin, we are guilty of them all. If we commit murder only once, we are a murderer, if we steal only once, we are a thief, but if we confess our sin, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sin, and to CLEANSE US FROM ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS. We have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. Babes endure chastening, because God chastens those he loves, but if we are not chastened, we are not sons but bastards. We are chastened that we might be partakers of his holiness, for he has said, Be ye holy for I am holy. Yet in my 42 years as a Christian, I have never heard a Christian say that he is being chastened of the Lord. Being ignorant of the fact that chastening is not pleasant but grievous, and can result in trials, afflictions, weakness, sickness and death. It is also written, My people perish for a lack of knowledge. We are chastened of the Lord that we should not be judged with the world, and if we would judge ourselves, we will not be judged. We are to examine ourselves, whether we are in the faith. Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? GOD FORBID. We been given grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith, the gifts of God are effectual. Be blessed, that you may be a blessing.

But in 2019, God chastened me. It hurt very badly, but I NEEDED to get hurt! I've never been the same. No turning back, no turning back. Praise the Lord!!!

Just yesterday, I was thinking about my walk. I was unsure if I’ve been on the right track, but then I looked at my life. I’ve changed so much and I’ve never been the person I am now. My faith is in God more than ever and I find myself constantly thinking about Him and what He would want from me in that moment. I go to Him for all things now and I repent more quickly than I ever did in the past. I became a mom this year and I’ve suffered deeply with postpartum depression from hormones, isolation, and my physical health declining, but I thank the Lord because my suffering has changed my heart. The moment I realized that I was praising Him for my pain and suffering, I knew that I’ve been changed for good. I came to Christ when I was 18 and it was an unsteady journey. He’s blessing my entire house, as even my husband is growing. I still struggle, but I’m better than ever all thanks to Jesus!

Curse words still slip out but they aren’t as often as they use to be. Im trying to turn away from things, so far I’m having trouble with fasting… I want to fast but think I have a food addiction. Being ready to defend my faith I’m still trying because the only thing that comes in my head is “I believe because his word is truth, and it’s evident in today. And I truly just love GOD.” But it’s not enough I dive into the Bible 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 hours a day, but I still need to study more.

I don’t even know if I’m saved or self deceived anymore. I feel so disappointed in my experience. I ask God for more faith, to help me love Him and appreciate Him more, and to help me know if I’m a child of His or not. It feels like He is silent and never answering whenever He seems to answer other people when they struggle with similar things. The longer I feel like this the more my trust in Him seems to fade. I don’t want to give up but my heart feels very apathetic right now.

I read my Bible everyday but even myself at times I do not remember to review scripture in my head when something in my life arises. Walking on Spirit is key to growth in God and it won’t happen over night. I don’t have someone teach me the Bible, I read it for myself so I guess I’m still learning.

If any man lack wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all men liberally, according to James. The Spirit of the Lord is our teacher, and we have an unction, an anointing, you have not been left alone. Ask the Lord to give you revelation of his will and his word, he is able. This is not what I think, this is what I know, and the Lord helps me to tell it like I know it. Be faithful in prayer, and in reading your Bible, and you will be greatly rewarded.

The secret of Christianity is not in doing but in being, being born of water and the Spirit. By his mercy he has saved us by the washing of regeneration and the renewing of the Holy Ghost Tit3:5. Men do not gather grapes of thorns nor figs of thistles, make the tree good and the fruit thereof. A good tree can only bring forth good fruit, so is everyone that is born of God. If any man be in Christ Jesus, he is become a new creature, old things are passed away, all things are become new. Put off the old man, and put on the new man, put on the Lord Jesus Christ. Paul said, I'm crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live, yet not I but Christ lives in me. And the life I now live, I live by the faith of the Son of God. Be blessed and be a blessing.

Be equipped for every good work to bear fruit for God’s will. All who know God pursue God, Luke 3:16. 1 Timothy 4:7-8 But reject irreverent, silly myths. Instead, train yourself for godliness. Why do people assume you are an alcoholic partying sex monster if you aren’t in your Bible 24/7? While I’m personally allowing myself to step aside and let God do his thing in my life and pray a lot more in Jesus name as I’m someone who suffers from depression since I was a little girl. (32 now) I’m definitely not just clubbing and partying. So many Christians are so obsessed with sex and alcohol more than people that are out here having premarital sex. It’s weird. Just because I don’t live in an all plain White House with just my Bible doesn’t means I’m tossing back liquor every night and snorting coke wtf
@jeremybickel65772 жыл бұрын
I think discernment has to start with a full grasp of salvation doctrine, that (according to Romans 10:14a), those you believe the 4 things in 1 Corinthians 15:3b-8 do the work that comes from faith of calling on the name of the Lord to be saved by confessing with the mouth Master Jesus, because, it says, confession with the mouth is made to salvation (Romans 10:9-13). After that, a dividing line is seen between Christian and Worldling, and we're supposed to love the siblings in Christ by ways that we cannot love the World with rebukes, teaching in righteousness, reproofs, shunning and the good things where iron sharpens iron but which the World cannot stand and use. And discern this dividing line, because friendship with the World is enmity with God. See what you have become by being born again, and ask Him to make you want to love Him.

I really enjoy your content, however the name of this series, "Church gone wild" should be reconsidered. Unless it was your intent to associate it with the then popular TV series, "Girls gone wild". We are to not to give the appearance of evil. 1 Thess 5:22. Thank you for all the work you do.
@2011hib2 жыл бұрын
Starting at about minute 4; I don’t believe discernment is the spirit showing us some thing about someone else’s life that they never told us. That sounds a little bit like mind reading or prophecy. Off the top of my head I would say that discernment has more to do with a nudge from the Lord based on your experience and reading the Bible. When you mentioned discernment at minute 6 you mentioned being able to tell if something is good or evil. That sounds more on the mark.

If you have a bible, you don't need any teachings about him or theology. God said that he will teach us and we don't need someone to tell us. If we seek his kingdom he will reveal his righteousness to us. The danger of trusting teachers is that there are many false teachers nowadays and might lead you out of the way.

How To Know If You Are A Baby, Carnal or Spiritual Christian ? In summary: 1. Grow in deeper knowledge and understanding of GOD. Really get to Know HIM. 2. Grow in in Obedience to all GOD teaches. Love what HE Loves, Hate what HE hates. Example - Job, Joseph, Daniel and his friends. In other words, all that JESUS would Say, Feel, Do, and Be.. you live likewise.
@freeindeed07 Жыл бұрын
In short, carnal (still sinning), spiritual (stopped sinning). Carnal is still in enmity against Christ. It doesn't submit to God and cannot please him. It cannot discern the spiritual things of God.
@katrielisrael72622 жыл бұрын
I'm a israelite from the tribe of issacar and I know I am spiritual because I keep the laws, statues and commandments of God. That's what makes you spiritual and that's what the Bible says. John 15:10 If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love. Revelation 2:5 Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place-unless you repent. The last verse emphasizes that salvation is only fot Israel. Salvation of fot the israelites who are in current day captivity from all the nations. The real israelitrs today are the so called blacks, Hispanics and native Americans.

I don't know all the other ''-ologies'' he's talking about😆but I do know theology (the study of G-d) which comes through reading the bible and building a relationship with G-d. ☺Ones you read and understand the bible clearly and build a relationship with G-d continuously, you will defend it. Certain things you cannot defend because you don't know too much about it and that's okay. For me, I understand the OT more than the NT so when someone asked me, "What it means we are under grace not law." I would say, " I honestly don't know." 😶

Grace is God's Covenant with you when you receive Jesus Christ. So call on His Name. The Law has come to an end. They were God's rules for ancient Israel.
@learningjourney30412 жыл бұрын
@@1ricky77333 ''The Law has come to an end.'' That's the thing I don't get. Jesus didn't come on the earth to get rid of the laws of G-d the Father but to show us how to live out the Laws of G-d. We need the laws of G-d so we don't live in lawlessness. ''Grace is God's Covenant with you when you receive Jesus Christ.'' G-d is the definition of grace. He always shown grace to His people, but He also gave them laws. I'm not attacking you. I just don't understand.

@@learningjourney3041 I think you understand better than you think. Laws are good, they are written on our hearts. We don't go around trying to breaks laws. Jesus kept all of God's Laws perfectly. He was the only one that could because Jesus is/was sinless and perfect. The Law of God was written to bring us to Jesus. But we are not under the law...being good can't get you to Heaven. That's why we all need Jesus. He did EVERYTHING for us.

@@1ricky77333 ''He did EVERYTHING for us.'' What do you mean everything. Do you mean we no longer need to keep the laws of G-d because we have Jesus? ''Jesus kept all of God's Laws perfectly. He was the only one that could because Jesus is/was sinless and perfect.'' Why would G-d gave us His laws if He knows we won't keep all of it because we are not perfect? ''But we are not under the law...being good can't get you to Heaven. That's why we all need Jesus.'' The purpose of the laws of G-d is not to get into Heaven but to bring us closer to G-d. The laws of G-d helps us to be who He created us to be and disspell any deceptions that comes our way. I don't understand what you means when you said, ''We are not under the law.'' when the laws of G-d is needed to keep us from falling into the wrong path. Jesus came on earth to fulfill the laws so that we can do the same. From what I've learn is that......we get to follow all of the laws of G-d by doing what Jesus did. Mat 5:19 ''Whoever practice and teaches these commandment will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.'' Jesus kept the sabbath day, jewish holidays, kosher, etc.He basically lived a jewish lifestyle but was guided by the Holy Spirit. What set him apart was the fact he lived through the Spirit of G-d and submit himself to the will of G-d. Luke 22:42 “Father, if You are willing, take this cup from Me. Yet not My will, but Yours be done.”

@@learningjourney3041 As Christians, now saved, God wants us to WALK in His Spirit...not ours. 16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

I was a carnal christian from age 14 to 24. 10 years of walking in darkness and believing in “hyper grace”. I was truly converted this August when I submitted to the Heavenly Father. My heart has changed and the seeds that were planted have finally sprouted. Praise YAH✝️🙌🏽

@@Opin10n hyper grace or " free grace" is the theological system that claims that Christians with evil deeds will have eternal salvation. They deny that true saving faith is always transformative unto a changed life and falsely use scriptures such as 1cor3:15 to make these claims. Scripture says that those with true saving faith ( confidence in the Gospel promise, trust in God) will ALWAYS live in- or return to repentance of their sins. They will not end their life in sin. 1jn3:7-10, gal5:19-21, mattew13:41-42. Free grace or hyper grace denies this, which proves them to not really be operating in the Spirit. I do believe that many if not most of these hyper gracers were saved in the past, and this doctrine that they now profess is merely a sign of their falling away from Christ and going back into the world. Some who teach this false doctrine in it's purest and most blatant form here on KZbin: Renee Roland, Gregg Jackson, David Benjamin, Jacksmack77, Good Hope. Some of which have addressed me in their videos, saying that I am a wolf because I teach that scripture warns of loss of salvation, and a demand for us to endure by faith until the end to be saved. Hebrews 3:11-14, 1cor15:1-2, Luke 8:13, Hebrews 10:36.

I haven’t heard the term hyper grace before, but it sounds like when a saved person believes they can live however with no submission to Christ, and God will just forgive it over and over again. Essentially when a Christian discounts the blood of Christ, by carelessly snuggling with the same sins His blood paid for. I think that’s what it is

Brother in Christ. Praise God for giving you the strength to do his work. Sipitual growth is my current duty in my household feeding my little family with the word of God. And I see my son and my wife growing from their own desire and into Christs desire. My son is in a football team. The reason why coach chose him to be the captain is because after every training. He would clean up the equipments. And this is because the other day we talked about what Jesus said to his disciples that if you want to be a leader, you need to serve, if you want to be first, you need to be last. I guess my son practiced that in his football. Thank you for the reminder. May God continue to give you the strength for his work. God bless.

Your ministry is so important especially for the "baby Christians". I remember when I got saved a few years ago, my KZbin feed was just full of your short, quickfire 7-10 minute videos on the basic essentials of the faith. It's like for every question I had there was a video titled with the answer to my question. I appreciate you for that, brother Allen. God bless
