With my pregnancy with my daughter my implantation looked like my period and started on the date when I was expecting my period and it lasted the same duration as my period. The only difference was that I had no blood clots and felt no cramping or other symptoms associated with my period. Implantation bleeding differs for each pregnancy. With my son implantation happened a week before my period and was the tiniest dot on my pantyliner.

I am currently going through this at the moment. The ‘implantation’ bleeding has lasted for 4 days now, light pink in colour, nothing like a normal period. I am not due to start my period for 1 week… I am hoping that my implantation is just taking a little longer than the 1-2 days advised! 🤞🏼

When I had my implantation bleeding with my daughter I thought I was on my period coz I bled for 5 days and my blood was red and slightly heavy just like my period flow. So indeed it differs with each pregnancy. How I even knew I was pregnant was a week later after what I thought was my cycle I had my normal cup of coffee and almost threw up which was weird. Told a colleague and she told me to take a test which I did and it came back positive. Try to wait at least a week after your expected missed period to test, that is what I did with my son coz with him implantation was a week before my expected period. All the best.

After what I thought was my cycle ended I felt extremely nauseous after drinking coffee but did not suspect I was pregnant. After telling a colleague of my experience with the coffee she advised me to take a test, but told her I just finished my cycle but she insisted to take it which I did when I got home and long story short test came back positive.
