Without knowing how to detect what is wrong with your horse's movement you can not know who is the right person to bring in to help your horse.

The whole point of this video was for you to look at her movement and to see if you could spot where the problem is. If you did not already see the video of her diagnosis it is in this video.kzbin.info/www/bejne/fnqtmWBsj8irqdk

Exactly. My 15 year old, well broke, willing to please horse stopped picking up the left lead canter about 3 plus weeks ago, there were a few subtle signs he was telling me before that, I now kow in hindsight, but then it was the right lead as well. Trot was fine, fluid and reaching. Anyway, chiro and muscle relaxers and acupuncture have shown SI joint was out, muscle knot in left side of pelvis and sore in left shoulder and right poll made perfect sense as to why canter was difficult, if not impossible for him. Probably caused by the rough housing he gets into with his 5 year old brother, anyway, he was not lame per say, but could not canter, like you say, fluid mobility jammed, not lameness in the ordinary sense.

What I got from the other video that was new to me is the diagonal connection between the front right leg and the back left leg, and vice versa. That was very cool. Thank you for these very informative videos!!!

I appreciate your explanation of watching for fluidity of movement. That was an ah-ha moment for me, and worth the time to listen. Often, when going to the doctor's office, a series of questions are asked to help pin point what is needed; physical therapy, x-rays, MRI, etc.

First, thank you for this! It looks like to me and I'm probably wrong. She's bowed up and her rear isn't moving correctly. Her rear left leg isn't moving as far forward as her right.

It is showing in the rear but the problem is in the diagonal front.

The left front and right rear are not coming together or extending as much as the opposite set. I love the motion graphic I wouldn't see it if I hadn't been able to watch it repeatedly. The only way It would have been easier to spot was if it was projected onto a grid line. in a grid line

Wish alot more would listen to this ..re fluidity of movement. Lame is not as simple as lame.. Friend had horse many years ago. Horse lame. Simply it was one cannon bone shorter than the other. Elevated the shoe...andwork on firm ground ,muscle exercises horse went on to be one of the the best grande prix show jumpers.

But you didn’t tell us where the lack of fluidity started? What specifically do YOU see that isn’t right?

I gave you all that in previous videos of this horse as I was working through her issues. With that knowledge you should be able to see in her movement.
