I tried to layer infusible ink by putting a red strike line through black ink. When I removed the red line layer, I noticed that the black ink was faded. What would cause this? Did I need to let it cool completely? Thanks!

did the mug press automatically sense the temperature? sublimation typically requires a certain amount of time at a certain temperature, so not clear how this works. I just got my mug press a couple of days ago and haven't taken it out of the box yet.

So I learned a lesson when I tried this, it was an epic fail and I ruined my mug. I used red as my letters and then put on a darker background. The background totally hid the writing. Lesson learned, black letters with a light background.
