I like these winder series. Very informative for understanding the variations for code compliance. Two friends of ours are asking me to help them figure out a new stairway to a new room in their attic. I think a winder may be a viable solution to consider when I go look at their condo.

In some cases, doesn't the walkline tread of each step need to be within 3/8" of each other and made consistent? If so, how would you do that? If the inside edge and the walkline are not parallel, how do you measure the 12" over? Been watching many of your videos, great walkthroughs!
