I've been learning Spanish for a year. And I realized that I didn't like learning from an app that was focused on being right and not retention and learning. So it takes time and patience. Good luck language learners!

Yes, unfortunately that’s how most apps work. That’s also why I wouldn’t recommend using them as your primary or only ressource. Retention comes by using what you learned in real-life situations. May it be right or wrong. That’s how you learn to improve. And that is something trying to communicate with native speakers helps you with.

Nowadays, people try to do almost everything faster. Sometimes it's possible, sometimes not. I believe in language learning, rush can be a big enemy of stable progress, and that learning a language super fast isn't the most efficient thing to do.

Completely agree with your views on timeframes for learning a language! I believe language learning is an infinite process and the joy of language is the entire process and existence of it! The moment you learn ONE word in a new language, you can communicate something with someone, isn't that so much fun in and of itself! Thank you for your channel I really enjoy it 🙏🏾

What is considered fluent? I have been learning Spanish over 10 years and don't know ever word in Spanish.

Is the polyglot challenge for a specific language? Like when we purchase it, do we set it to a language or is it a general course on how to set up your language learning journey?
@itsimplyeve Жыл бұрын
It’s a general course to go along with the language you are learning. If you want to learn any of these languages (Spanish, French, Portuguese or German) there are weekly group lessons included.
