You were the second person to suggest a video with this topic. I actually tried to record it today but will have to revisit as it was a little harder to explain than I thought. However, I will definitely get that video out sooner than later 💯

Atleast the twelves allow you to play with that dust on, with me here using needles i have to clean the record almost after every 2 songs
@DJLiftOFF3 жыл бұрын
Very true. Tables are just expensive in general honestly. I had to get as close as I could get without having to replace needles, cartridges, control vinyl, etc.

@Jayo Delaware that is also a very good point. A computer is very expensive and can definitely have usb or other connection issues where’s as turntables and a mixer can directly connect to speakers, etc. There are pros and cons to both for sure

Good Shhhhhh Bro. I like the way you teach. I subscribed to your channel. I am very very new to DJing, I just bought the Rane One. I need all the help I can get lol.

@@DJLiftOFF i think you get a better effect on that one looks like a vinyl type correct me if im wrong?
@DJLiftOFF3 жыл бұрын
You can technically accomplish the same sound on any controller, or Dj board. The Rane’s definitely simulate a real turntable feel, and I personally think it helps to learn how to scratch on them. However, you can do the same scratch patterns with anything. What equipment do you use?
@FarebrothaChronicle3 жыл бұрын
Great tutorials it's a little more difficult using a controller that doesn't have a motorized platter.
@DJLiftOFF3 жыл бұрын
Thanks man! And yeah, it’s definitely tougher without motorized platters. I always think it’s easiest to learn with them being motorized, but still possible with jog wheels
@DjLyRiX2 жыл бұрын
Which video of his is it?
@DJLiftOFF2 жыл бұрын
Mannn, I can’t even remember. He does very similar patterns all of the time though so I wouldn’t be surprised if you catch this same pattern in various videos.

I've been thinking about it heavily. I really like the S9 though so probably not anytime soon. Might actually cop this Rane One next aha.

@@DJLiftOFF I have the rane one it’s awesome the only downside it doesn’t have hardware effects like the s9 but other wise it’s dope.
@DJLiftOFF3 жыл бұрын
@@DJGaryP I've been hearing mixed reviews on the Rane One, but definitely more positive than negative. And yeah, I wonder they didn't put hardware effects on it, but I can live without it if everything else is dope!

alotta times when a dj is scratching off the fly, the sound definitely sounds no where near that, please break down what it takes to create the sound??? thanks
@DJLiftOFF3 жыл бұрын
You’re 100% right. To get this particular scratch sound, I’m just using the serato scratch sentence which is an mp3 of multiple samples that are good for practicing scratching! On the fly, it takes a lot more creativity because you’re usually scratching using a vocal or a particular sample/sound in a song.
