In summary: - use spaced repetition - don't overdo it (5 to 10 new cards per day) - try to keep it interesting - lots and lots and lots of video clips, because reasons.

I would be interested in trying out Polyglot Lab but it looks like your article creation wizard doesn't allow languages not already listed. Any chance you could just add Vietnamese as an option? Also noticed you don't have Japanese, which is what you're studying, right? A web-based version of FLR would be an awesome tool.

Hey Sean, thanks for the comment. The reason why a lot of languages aren't supported is because of some technical issues I had with Asian languages (with translation and parsing). I'm currently working on something big, so I'm not planning on working on Polyglot lab in the near future. I would suggest you take a look at Lingq or Readlang if you are looking for similar software. Sorry!

after combing all related videos for almost 2 hours, this one is the best of all among those centered around forgetting curves, thank you for the efforts 🙏✨

I like doing things in sets of 100. 100 reps on Glossika and 100 flashcards on Pleco (for Chinese) almost daily is a sweet spot for me

Thanks. I'm using StudySmarter. It's convenient and follows the Spaced Repetition System.

Every email i use on labs ends up in an error. When attempting to re sign up it tells me my email is taken. Upon trying to login with those rejected and taken emails it tells me there's something wrong with the info. In short signing up doesn't work.

I guess no one has really touched on this, but the production quality of this video is very well done!

Anki is great, but it takes so long to add words. I found a memerise set of the textbook that I am using which really helps.

Good video. I'm currently using a manual spaced repetition system and I'm looking around for something that might be more time-efficient for me. I firmly believe the language learners should spend about 80% of their time reading or listening to real content, and 20% of their time learning / reviewing vocabulary and grammar.

Well, the phrase "could you give me some ketchup with this sushi" is now going to stick in my mind forever and ever. And it doubles so nicely as "I'm an uncultured barbarian", too.

What if you are returning to Anki and want to quickly get 'new' cards into the 'mature' pile?

You mean "learning" cards?
