Hey,im only 14 but i wanna study in groningen so i can tell you to go on their website, all schools have similar wishes for ur education, you will need finished same amount of schooling as dutch highschool is,and give physics, biology, chemistry&mathematics a big part in your life,if you get past that u will need to take 2 tests, one is for ur understanding of english basicly u get a text and u need to find information and for the second u will get schoolwork and will need to study then they will give you a scenario and based of what u studied you will need to tell them how you'd proced.Hope this helped a little and good luck

I am currently a grade 12 student and i want to study medicine in the Netherlands, but the whole process is really confusing, do you have any idea where i can find the admission requirements for uva? Based on countries, and do you major in medicine immediately? Because i saw that you need a 3 years bsc degree, do i need to major in a scientific subject or can i chose anything i want then after the 3 years apply to med school?? Also when should i start learning dutch cause i thought of taking my bsc in English then med school dutch, so i can learn it better since i have no background in it what so ever Sorry this is really long im just really confused:(

Hello there! Infos about each university and program can be found in universities' sites. Also, in the Bsc which you have to take as a first step of medicine in the Netherlands , you major in medicine but from a more theoretical perspective. On those 3 years you achieve the most basic and specific medical knowledge. The bachelor is taught in english. After finishing the bachelor's program, you have to take language exams and to prove you have a C1 level of dutch language. Then you can continue to step 2 of the medical journey in the Netherlands, which is taught in dutch. On those 3 years you continue to learn everyday and to improve your medical knowledge but you also do clinical rotations at the University Medical Center of the city you'll choose to live and study in. After obtaining the master's program , you are now able to call yourself a doctor. The best time to start learning dutch is as soon as possible. It is a very challenging language and demands commitment. Lastly, only in Groningen's and Maastricht's universities you can study the bachelor program in english. Every other medical program in the Netherlands is taught in dutch from day 1 of the bachelor. I hope I helped! Good luck!

@@LMFAO-ud8st definitely the teaching approach is different. Groningen is student - patient centered whereas Maastricht has a patient centered program with a problem based approach. But you can find more details in their websites
