Great video. Like many of my fellow Canadians, I learned French in school, but alas did not retain very much due to a lack of everyday use. I did learn a ton of vocabulary though. I am thinking that I would like to take another stab at it after solidifying my German.

Very helpful. I will be visiting france in 2023 with a group of my friends baby woo hoo! I've always wanted to learn, I've picked it up and stopped for a while a few different times. I always come back to it. Im back for good this time hahaha. There are so many helpful resources now that are either free or very affordable. Love it please keep up the good work !

The hardest thing for me starting to learn French as an English speaker is how sentences aren’t structured as they are said, like in English if you say something like I love you it’s said exactly how it’s written but in French it’s written as if it says i you love or je vous aime. So that’s my biggest struggle so far is trying not to say things as they are written out which I’m finding very hard to do

I have a question ,why the liaison isn’t always used ?? Look at what you said in 7:16 : Est-ce que tu parles allemand ? (---------les all-----) Notice that the s didn’t get pronounced while the s in the sentence got pronounced Je suis anglais (--uis an--) So , why is that???

As a Bulgarian native who learned English and Russian(improve my vocabluary skills for "false friends") in school. Than at the University I learned Latin first semester. In my secound year i stoped Latin and i tried Spansih and it was good experience. At the third year i was facineted by the German civil law and i started German. The biggest problem for me with the french that cringes me take me away from learning it is the phonetic. I can't learn a foregin language without knowing how to read and write. I have a serious problem with French phonetic. The bigest motivetion for me as a Bulgarian native speaker learnign French is actually the grammar which is very simillar and the Bulgarian Grammar is exepcion from the other Slav's grammers becouse it follows rules of Romance languages (Spanish, french and a lot form Romanian). Can i learn French B1 level without puting so much efferts on writing?
