Very helpful. To those saying this isn't helpful, he didn't mention he'd teach you Java. He said he'd teach you how to learn this sht faster because I struggled myself trying to learn from different resources at once and it doesn't help. As he said having a test project is golden. It basically means having a purpose while learning the language. He's trying to set your ass up for success. I love this video. I do have a project in mind, but I wouldn't know to use that as my test project. Thank you so much for your video. If anyone mad, just cook and eat your feelings cause you might need a meal.

Yeah let me save you all some time. He talks about obvious stuff like "have a goal and learn because you want to achieve it", I think most people watching this are in that zone already. He then goes on to say "KZbin and the Internet aren't good enough, pay some money to learn". Total rubbish, some of the online courses are amazing. Advertising.

The links all go to the same place, and it screams every red flag for clickbait, spam, virus, etc etc etc. It is nothing but an ad, and I don't recommend you try to use the course.

I’m in college taking a condensed software developer course, it’s like 3 to 4 weeks per language for a total of 65 weeks but I feel overwhelmed. Going into this course I told my advisor I could not stop working my full time and part time jobs and he assured me it was all going to be fine. In any case, anyone else think these condensed courses may be too condensed for even full time students? I mean is 4 weeks enough time to learn and understand the basics of a language to build on for a career in software development?

The truth about paying to learn (college, etc.) is this: You'd rather pay someone else to teach you the knowledge and skills you yourself are not willing to learn and adapt to. In truth, you get a degree from college but all those things can be learned on your own time. I do believe in investing time and money into learning a skill set to further one's progress, but think all things should be taken into account first.

Idk man, I don't think Im going to college just to learn. I am involved in research, I am involved in clubs and have friends and people around me that share similar interests. We have people who worked at companies such as NASA and Lockheed Martin guiding us. I see where you're coming from but its all about individual situation. A lot of people I've met have no interest on what they are doing, but Once in a while I meet these people who love what they do and I feel good to talk with them, So I dont think college is as bad as one would think.

TLDR: The "golden nugget advice" don't go for free courses, You will have knowledge gap that will not let you to gain six figure job. Need to invest some money, small investment and buy training here and just practice only 2 hours a day, but take the projects pay for our course and the six figure job is waiting.
