I would be intrested to see what solfege chromatic choices you would use in a Charlie Parker or other jazz songs. Choices meaning the sharp or flat syllables (fi or se) etc.

This is a terrific lesson, explained in a really clear and logical way. However, I'm afraid it would be confusing for me to study this way, since at least in Spanish, "Do" is always "C", never "A" (La) or "Bb" (Si bemol). I understand it's a different system, and I'm sure it's useful for many people, but not for those who have already started in a fixed "Do" context. Good job, nevertheless.

I am from Brazil, where we also use fixed Do. However, unless you have absolute pitch, starting to use moveable Dó will not be any problem for you. Once you learn moveable dó, it becomes very easy to analyze any song by just singing with the solfegge for that particular tonality, that is the point of this exercise. Soon you can use the solfegge to learn any song, in any key.

Logical video, I'll use this. Thanks. I particularly like the singing first - that should tell whether I'm getting it or just matching what I'm playing. Sexy girl. Where's she?
