Into the second semester at school....learning both unit & lesson planning, I'm struggling for both😅......but most teachers say..." it's not easy and sometimes it irritates you but it gets easier with practice over time".......😂😂my brain is hurting 😂😂😂😂

As someone with adhd, this sounds so rewarding. That may seem weird but I need constant things to occupy me and I like lists and organizational type things (esp if I’m taking my meds lol)

I relied so heavily on the teacher edition of my reading curriculum. It had exact questions and activities to do for Tiered interventions!

I just got offered a job for next academic year. They gave me the options k-4 and I’m leaning towards kindergarten. This will be my first year teaching so. Do you like kindergarten? I have subbed for them a few times but what do you think about their overall behavior.

Congratulations, that is amazing!! I do enjoy kindergarten. I think behavior is all about how you set your routines and procedures in class. There are always going to be good days and bad days with behavior because they are so young, but making sure that you are consistent with positive reinforcement and consequences is so important!

It is not recommended because it is not specifically aligned to our state standards and is not a state-approved resource. Lots of teachers definitely still use it though!
