yes you can, go to hazels shop, there you can earn $PIXEL token by completing tasks even F2P players can do this, having land or VIP's can earn more tokens per day

holy trinity is good if you want to level up as many skills as you can, farming alone gives a pretty good yield to earn berry

yes this is by design, it will always cost more energy compared to what you get back we are limited by energy otherwise people/bots could grind infinite and extract money
