How to Level Up Ships Faster in Star Trek: Fleet Command

Tiering and leveling up your ships in Star Trek Fleet Command can sometimes appear to be a chore. Not only do we need to gather the necessary materials and resources to install new components to raise tiers, but we also have to "use" the ship enough to gain XP to increase the power and health of our ships. Luckily, you can use "autogrinding" and put your ship on cruise control to gather that almighty XP automatically. Couple this with XP boosting officers, and the chore becomes a mere passing thought.
