I wanted to add a little to the fame farming: When the 5 days of premium started, I immediately popped up a cake and went into T7-T8 black zones with the Ava road at Brecilien. There was a lot of downtime (because the mists have about 30%-ish reduced fame compared to open world mobs) but the silver drops didn't change (compared also at a open world T6 normal mob in BZ) So, during this period, every normal kill ranged about 11k-13k in fame and well, about 1.8k and 2.3k in silver raw drops. I managed to spec up nature in practically 4 hours from 10 to 100, and used the fame credits to only level up offhands (since their fame/credits ratio is goddamn high) Another thing that I noticed is that you recieve half of fame credits for a piece of equipment if it isn't also specced up (you have mastery maxed up, but not the specialization maxed), and that is a small, but still noticeable fame loss if you're using a PVE set while auto-respec is off. So yeah, mists and abbey are the most accesible way, but I haven't tried farming the ava roads (and I don't think I'll be around to test it, the downtime for the pathfinder mobs is crazy af)

the new roads mobs help a ton, they average 50k fame and if you find a decent map, there can be loads of them, definitely competitive for fame nowadays

I really like that someone is actually making videos about this, I did this about 4 months ago when I started playing although not very in depth but I managed to find out that ava roads with a not fully specd weapon was way more efficient than a fully spec'd weapon but the only thing with that was the old ava road mobs were superbly hard to kill depending on the weapon of choice and it was faster just to farm them with my shadowcaller but after the new update beyond the veil I feel like almost any weapon with high enough ip can farm them

If you got one of these weapons already maxed, it may be ok and even better with credits, but if you're looking for playing your build right away, you can just take your build and level, this way you will also get used to abilities.

There are few things to consider: Experience (gotta learn when and what abilities to use (being able to rotate abilities between packs allow for much higher farming rate)) Luck (Sometimes you will get much less people, which could be the factor as well) Knowledge (being able to escape gankers/know how to move around the map effeciently without wasting to much time) There are a few factors there, so there's some room for improvement. Let me know, if there's something specific, you think, slows you down.

Ava roads can give even more fame, the problem is that you're limited to a veery small pool of weapon choices, so if you got extra silver for autorespec, you can hit maxed weapons in record speed.

Love this type of content. Though you miss a very important point. If you use a pve set it will be max spec compared to a no spec pvp weapon. To get 1200ip you would need 7.2 equivalent. Nothing for black zone ^^ Would be great to see the numbers on that. I didnt level a pve set yet. But looking at this it could be far more efficient once fully specced

It is more efficient, but it also takes a while to max this PvE set. You also may want to enable auto-respec to increase fame gain, but that hurts your wallet badly. (imagine no speccing 1200 ip set in heavy plate (+500 IP to be as efficient 💀)

I did the numbers about the Fame credits and the fame earned, and what i learn was always using a 100 Armor and the rest items you need to level up, using the respect on it will not be too much expensive and have and approach close to using a full 100 set with respect on

Turning auto re-spec on automatically distributes your fame credits when you are leveling any items. Turning it off just stores your fame credits instead of distributing them.

With completely maxed out set without auto-respec, you will gain up to 40% (42% with off-hand) fame as credit points (1 credit is 2 weapon fame). But, you can just use weapon without auto-respec, and have 100% fame + up to 64% extra fame from credits (30-32% fame goes into credits). Which is huge difference and unless your PvE build is crazy outperforming, one may just use the weapon and level it faster, without any silver spent!

I believe OW can be better, if you find nice zones filled with mini-bosses or bosses. I don't like OW cause you need to roam a lot and then forced to tp back (silver cost) while mist/abbeys can be done straight from city.

I usually kill mobs, while looking for abbeys. Abbeys got so many mobs and loot you get ton of silver and fame. The only problem is there's no pattern i found yet, but I look for it! Maybe, one day I'll make a guide how to farm them consistently.

Can't tell you the exact values, but from my experience BZ ow can give you more, if most of the mobs are atleast in grown condition. There are few downsides to OW, which i don't like: 1)Requires long travel 2)Requires to travel back/TP back 3)Can encounter 20 man gank squads (not that often to happen) 4)It may have a lot of downtime between mobs, if the zone was cleared 5)Can't sell stuff straight in caerleon for extra silver

This chart shows how much extra IP you would need on weapon, to hit the same result. So, in heavy plate to have the same damage as full cloth, you'd need extra 500 IP (which is a lot and prob not worth :( )

I believe it tracks your log, and calculates how much fame you get in total. Normal fame and combat fame is displayed separately. Il take a closer look next time. @@ButterscotchTheButty

The tool tracks correctly in my opinion, but still I cant reach fame per hour higher than 2.5-3m(heron spear + cloth build), and if we take in account dying it goes even lower.~2m normal fame + 400-500combat, tested mostly in common mists, since its easier to find them.@@ButterscotchTheButty

It is all about min maxing, you gotta spend less time looting/running around and focus on constant mob grinding which may take some time to get used to, also I used quite nice IP (~1100) which is pretty high for new player.

I try to go the most dps build possible (full cloth+thetford cape) and trying to get IP, that will allow me to oneshot packs on low cd abilities or rotate them (like Q+E, then Q+W) this allows my abilities to be ready and i can kill without any downtime. If i ain't getting any damage, I might as well eat omelette to get this cd even lower!

Good video but : You can resell your PVE investment later and some build allow you to do alone some contents that give you a lot of fames. and for shadowcaller since you take it as an example, it can also be used for HCE later, so it's not a waste for everyone =)

That's why i mentioned "they're not great for pve alone" if you're not looking for silver. PvE builds are like gathering profession. You get silver primarily and fame secondary. It also works if you need one or few set pieces.

Arcane, holy, nature, mace do the job pretty well, hammer is ok, do i miss anything? But usually, you can easily level tank weapons doing your tank role in pve with group.

Sure fame farming in mists aint bad but could you please further elaborate how to max out a weapon in a single day that way? Because I am none stop doing mists right now and am surely no where close maxing out a weapon in a single day unless by a day you mean 24h of play time? From my experience a lot of potential efficiency gets lost because of bad mist layouts and other players keeping you away from camps and chests.

Lots of efficiency comes from constant mob grinding, it doesn't have to be camp specifically as for people. I didn't have much problems. Usually, in an hour, it is that one 8.3 double bladed tryhard, but if you got a mobility swap (i use dbs stunrun technique), this guy aint got nothing to u. (In avg you get ~1m per 18 min. of abbey. But it takes like 10 minutes to find an abbey, which is not that good at the end. (~2.4-2.7 if you grind everything vs ~2m if you look for abbey alone)

@@edgardsimon9623 I was new at albion back then and I was experimenting on different setups that is good for pvp. Its a weird but kinda works on Corrupt Dungeons though. The setup was: Demon helm, Soldier Armor, Scholars sandals, 1h dagger, torch, Bridgewatch cape. This build relies on stacking soldier armor and silencing the enemy for a long time and hopefully you can kill with E skill by then. Bridgewatch cape for slow and extra cc reduction.

If you want to spec up assassin jacket for your set, you can use the jacket, however, if you're looking for faster(yet, cheaper, than respec points) way to level a weapon, full cloth build may help. But don't rush for efficiency, it's all about fun, really :)

Question, if you were to use a pve build for fame farming and you have a main hand weapon and a off hand does that also give you 80% of the fame ??? Or does it give you the full amount considering every item give you 20% of the total fame. Question 2: wouldn't a max weapon have more damage ? 1) No-Respec full maxed set with 1h+offhand will get you 42% of fame as credits (100 fame -> 42 credits) which may then be used to level any weapon in 1:2 ratio (1 credit : 2 fame) 2) Every 100 IP increases the damage by 8-9% (depends on if it's a 1h or 2h) which will result in total of 25% more dmg (300 IP). It might do, but once again, the video was focused on new players, who has no efficient PvE builds yet.

That's what i thought when i finally decide what pvp build to level up, I love mists but never tried to calculate how much fame it's possible to get on PvP build when you dont feel comfortable farming mobs

I mean, i was focused specifically on mobs, not on pvp, so you may lose efficiency a little bit, but atleast you do something you enjoy!

yes, you're correct, just play what you want to level, you'll get the most efficiency, as long as it is a not a full plate.

why mists for fame farm? Dont you think open world mobs or ava roads make more? at low ip im talking

ava roads force you to use specific build, you wont be able to kill some mobs with bad weapon (not even talking about bosses) As for OW, it is better, except for one thing - travel time. Mists can be done next to the city and you can return home at any time (little to no cost), while OW will cost you a little.
