One of the best stoves on the market had mine 23 years used constantly in the winter Nad cold evenings ..never needed to change the door ropes of firebricks even though I have had spares for 15 years...I can't recommend them highly enough and British made...

Great vid. We Just had a 650 fitted with an external air source. First time lighting. Closed primary after about 10/15 mins and a justed secondary (closed 90%). Flame still pretty fierce and not getting the Lazy Flame ! Any suggestions welcome . Thanks

Burn the Clearview hot when you need heat. they are easy to light and if you try to burn them on low, not only will you get less heat out, but the soot will build up on the inside. the bottom air intake should be shut off within 10 minutes at the most after lighting, with minimal top air adjustment once it hits 110 degC. all of this is what the manufacturer recommends.... even with the back boilers.

Could a 750 Low Canopy Stove be turned into a 750 Flat Top Stove by removing the canopy or is the canopy not removable?

Yes it can be, they both just lift off.

My one suffers from black glass, I have the boiler fitted when we shut down we get the black glass

Hi there, that definetly shouldn't happen! It will almost certainly not be a fault with the stove but likely the settings on the controls for the airflow. Get in touch with your local Clearview dealer and I'm sure the problem can be easily rectified.

yes I must be doing it wrong, we always try to stop it running away and getting too hot will experiment near winter time, and once I have cleaned the glass, heats our house up a treat tho
