The street lights are super cheap and available on Aliexpress and similar sites, 10 Pack was about £6 delivered from china to the UK (delivery about 2 weeks)

Can you make a tuturiol how you install the street lights?
@michaelh3703 жыл бұрын
Not a fan of the strobe light effect, but you maybe onto something. Perhaps a way to set timers on rooms lighting up? Especially the upstairs apartments/condo's. I know it's not lego, but it's used in model railroading, but paper over windows for curtains to spice it up.

I agree, the strobe is not my favorite. But the paper idea is a great idea!!!

Could you make a video of you installing it on a modular? I would like to see where you place the fairy lights in the building(s) as it's kind of hard to see in this video

Not bad, but it would have been way more helpful if you had shown us the lights by themselves. Then maybe a brief demonstration of how to set them up, and how you might go about installing them in a Lego building.

On Amazon, light kits only cost $40-$80 for a modular, I don’t know why you said $60-$100. It’s not as pricey as you think.
@PKBricks3 жыл бұрын
It definitely varies from company to company and per modular, so you are absolutely correct! There are cheaper alternatives. But those $40-$80 per modular for 5-10 modulars, really accumulated fast! But at least the ones I saw, were ranging from $60-$100

3rd party light kits made specifically for sets are really that expensive. the light kits are sometime even more expensive than the set like for the ninjago city sets
