I'd love to see a version of this using just standard lighting mechanics, not chroma stuff. I personally don't have the intention to get into chroma lighting myself as i don't see myself having as much good visions as this. and would love to see the process of those maps When i play beat saber next however, i will 100% play this map, looks sick

Thanks for making this video, but this is impossible to work with - the lighting part anyway. I'd rather just make a track and leave as-is. Surely there's a way to generate some generic lighting for your song?

how do you get the rotating lights to stick so close together like at 4:49 ? i cant find a variable thats similar to step/prop for rotation lighting and those 2 variables dont seem to work, for me all the lights are super desycned from one another so whenever they have any ammount of speed it looks pretty ugly

For the ring rotation, how do you make the ring stop rotating in an instance?

How did you end up getting the ramp up of the rings? I never seemed to be able to understand how.

I started with the events further apart and moved them closer together to speed them up!

i tried mapping before, went preetty well would say. I mapped love beam!! by takayan (or whatever his name is). The only problem i have is: i am motivated to MAP but not to light. its really frustrating because i know i cant get out a map to beatsaver without lights. Anyone an idea where i could get a person motivated to do lights from so they could work on the lights and i could work on the blocks?

Yo I'm pretty new to the mapping scene. I don't use mods or anything. I just got into lighting my custom levels and I have problem. The custom light colors don't show up on BeatSaber. The base colors for my level were red & green but I adde some pink & blue to the lighting, however when testing the level all the lights showed up as green & red. Any idea what might cause this?

You have to install chroma to use chroma lights....

Never tried using it, i went straight to chroma for the lightshows. That's definitely what I'm more interested in!
