@NotThatRyanReynolds3 жыл бұрын
@@JimmyRooney The light will definitely bleed into the area behind you, but it will probably be pretty diffused depending on how far away you are from the wall behind you... That might be what you're looking for though! I think if you were to mix in a lamp or something in the background though, you'd have plenty of illumination, and it will look really natural!

This is awesome. Thank you. I bought a ring light and i don't love it. I'd love to have your advice on something! I want to start making macrame tutorials. I want to shoot overhead for technique but also talk directly to the camera for parts of the video as well. I'm guessing the easiest way would be to set up a camera overhead and another facing me. I'm guessing record it all that way and then edit away??? If you have any pointers or advice on this it would be greatly appreciated!!! Thank you again for all your fantastic videos!!!
@NotThatRyanReynolds3 жыл бұрын
Ring lights are not my favorite, so I feel your pain! The light I used for this video is really pretty awesome, especially for the price. It would work well for both your tutorials and talking to the camera. You could get two lights and film the overhead at the same time, but I think I would probably film one first and then the other. You can edit them together later. I personally would find talking and teaching while trying to make things look just right a little stressful! That would also save you from having to buy two lights! Don’t get rid of the ring light though. You can still repurposed it for other things!
