I was just about to use a spring form cake tin, not something I have used for many years. Your lining method is so simple I laughed out loud (with glee) when I saw it. Thanks for a very usable tip.

Absolute lifesaver cheers Edit: I take this 100% back the cake exploded in the oven and it had gone everywhere, and this leakage was due to the fact the lining was separating the tin bottom and top.

Thank you. I probably should have watched this video BEFORE I put my cheesecake base in the tin; but next time. lol And the rectangular pieces… what a fantastic idea. I’ve struggled with this and tried to guess and sticky tape bits on. What a mess that created and an epic fail. Will definitely try your tip.

I make cheesecake all the time but it’s usually just for us so I leave on the base lol. Thankfully my sides never did stick I spray butter cooking spray. I’m try this today tho as I have make one for Christmas and want it to be pretty lol

What did you do to keep the side lining to stay against the sides
@Al.Brady.3 жыл бұрын
Hi Tina! Not sure I used anything may have just be static? But a little butter or oil, lightly brushed round the edges and bottom will help your paper stick if it's not staying in place. Hope that helps!
@evelynbell24593 жыл бұрын
my parchment paper was in a roll and whenever i tried putting it on the sides it kept rolling up. i’m pretty sure my mom was concerned with how much i was yelling at it. in the end i used olive oil to help it stick and it worked!
