Especially if it is only one space off, then you have to move it twice. 😭 I didn't know they reduced the relocation cost. That is so nice!

Umm, you could just use the path tool in in the Island Designer app on your Nook phone. The path will also be visible when looking at your map making it easy to actually see where they will be placed in relationship to other structures.

Very true! That's a great way to line up your villager houses. :) I don't yet have a 3 star island so I couldn't use the Island Designer app. I just used this little trick instead and thought I would share. Maybe it will be helpful to others. :)

@@krista_biscuit thanks for sharing this! i actually prefer it over using the path tool because i sometimes get confused by how many squares i put down, so this is better for me and i would've never thought of it myself!

but only after u unlocked terraforming .. atleast people who not unlocked terraforming yet, especially for 3 house plot task. can try this method ( as for me i just randomly place them all on the beach)

I have a huge question so basically Tom nook is only giving me the option to move only FOUR of my villagers homes. Do you know how I can get him to let me move my other SIX villagers?? I have been stuck and I have been trying to figure out a solution but I can’t . Like is this a new update? And if so how do I move the rest of the houses. Because I know now that it costs less money.

I haven’t had this problem before but I did some googling, it could be that you haven’t talked to those villagers yet. Try talking to the villager who’s house you want to move and then try talking to Tom Nook to move their house. I hope that fixes your problem. :)
