Hi Ajay I have a problem in excel please help me out in this regard. A Excel sheet having attendance of exployees. In same folder the leave forms are scanned and save with emp-code and Name as PDF file. At the bottom of the excel file I have a seach bar to search and validate the entries are correct. How do I get a link for the record searched to the Leave forms stored as PDF file. I hope you have undertood the scenario.

You can select a file and go to the top right corner of the explorer you will see options go to start look there you will find a file path option you click that the path will automatically be copied

You can break down the formula by adding helper columns. For example, you can add a column for drive letter specify the drive whether it is D, E or F.

Hello! Old video this, but I hope you or someone can help me. Just like you, I get the warning message when opening media file (mp3-file) and I want to avoid that because I have Excel-file with multiple mp3-files that will be opened at once. This warning is not triggered "from VBA", so trying to disable warnings in VBA code did not work. Also, I tried changing settings in Security Center for macro and other things, but this also doesn't change the appearance of this message. Do you know of any way I can manage to remove it, or is it just not possible from Excel?

It can be done with a macro and the following is the logic. An input box to enter the word to search for. A loop and if condition to search for each sentence in doc for this specific word. For example, if 'The' is the word to search for, program should search for the string ". The " (Period Space The) and return the full sentence containing this particular string.

It is possible. - Create a list of values which you need in the Drop-down menu. - Use that list with Data Validation to create a drop down list in a cell, say A1 - Use the cell reference A1 inside Hyperlink function.
