Kate, the delivery of this much needed message was so perfectly done! I didn’t even know there was a niche for “soft life” influencers 🤦🏾‍♂️. Everything today seems so contrived. Many striving for an unattainable and often unfulfilling“aesthetic”. A key point that you made is that this highly sought after soft life comes from within and often it takes some time to achieve the top two layers of the pyramid or “peak softness”. The irony is that aspiring after what some of these influencers are peddling can create serious stress, the opposite of what I figure a 'soft' life is supposed to be. And you are very correct to tie it to the hierarchy of needs. I'm 52 now. Twenty years ago the soft life for me would have been having a nanny or housekeeper. Now it's the ability to travel, etc.😊

Goodness your ring is blinging! 💍✨ Is that a 4 carat?! It is beautiful!! Anyhow, I really love this video. I often get triggered when watching other people's luxury videos. Often thinking why can I not live this as well. I have to realize that the vast majority of what people show online are fake. I need to realize that I need to be grateful of what I have and be appreciative of this. I need to realize that these people are portraying to live this "soft life" may need to do things they may not want to do to keep this lifestyle. Love your videos a bunch 🩷

I think you should caution yourself against assuming the things ppl have or show are fake. Yes, not everything shown online is the truth or the whole story but you shouldn’t need to assume ppl are being deceptive or disingenuous (or secretly struggling) to feel good about your own life. Sometimes, ppl do have more than you or may be living better than you…and that’s okay.
