You can ask your rigger to make a "tracking lost idle animation" That is a looping animation the model will play when your face is not in the tracking field anymore (you go away from the pc)

Check in your Vtube Studio parameters if you have Eyeball X and Eyeball Y parameters! Also are you using a webcam? Usually android or iPhone tracking are better

Hello! This probably depends on the quality of your camera :/ when you turn your head around the tracking gets less quality since it cannot see your face clearly

Hello! Please make sure that the Y parameters actually went through in the VTS parameters! And if they are not there just scroll all the way down and click on the + and create them! Add Angle Y as input and whatever you need as output

You want to make sure that inside of Live2d your parameter Id is correct! Right click on your EyeOpenR parameter and check that the ID is EyeOpenR Do same thing for the left one Once you checked this, make sure that inside Vtube studio, in the parameter list (where head rotation, body rotation, mouth etc are) you have your eyes parameters, if you don't have them, scroll all the way down and create them by clicking on the + icon. Put Eye R Open as input and output and you're done!

Hello! What size is your model? Usually I make 4000x8000 canvases for my models, but I would recommend not going lower than 2000x4000 Edit your texture and check the size of it, make sure you add the items in without changing their size. Also, you can check that while you export the model, you are previewing it in full size: you can find it in Show> display quality and set it to 1

hi! i followed your tutorial to rig my model's eyes and the blinking looks fine in L2D but when it gets to VTube studio its as if the eyelash and eyelid wont respond to me closing my eyes or even widening my eyes, but the iris completely respond to it. what can i do to fix this?

I hate to bother you for another question, but when I import my model into Vtube Studio, the tracking for my Eye Open are not mirrored. For instance if I close or open my left eye, facing my model, the eye on the right side closes and open. Same thing happens with my right eye. Every other motion such as the head tilts and body movement mirrors perfectly. But in order to get the eye tracking right I have to map my EyeOpenLeft input tracking to the ParamEyeROpen output tracking. Just wondering if you had this issue or if there's a setting in either Live2D or VTube Studio to fix it?

That is more or a flaw because how i rig, but switching the inputs of the two eyes in Vtube Studio is just fine!

Love the tutorials I feel like I'm learning so much and my model already looks better than my previous attempts! One thing though, when I load my model into vtube studio the irises seem to always be looking slightly up and when I look with my eyes to the right they don't seem to track well. No problem when looking left though and I've checked all my parameters. Also my models eyelids do not blink all the way down in vtube studio even though In live2D everything with the eyes moves correctly. What might I be missing/need to take another look at? Try to go in the eyes open parameter in Vtube Studio and instead of having the numbers 1 and 0 try to put something like 1.2 and 0.2 and see if it's better!

This video helped me figure out so much stuff, thank you! Now, this might just be an issue with webcam based tracking, but I have this thing where when I physically roll my eyes downward, the software interprets this as closing my eyes. So basically, I can roll my eyes in any direction except down, then it causes my eyes to close. I don't know if there are any settings that I can adjust to make it not do that because when I look at the input parameters for Eye Closing, it does spike when I roll my eyes down. Adjusting the range only makes it harder for me to blink. I think I'm just gonna have to deal with it until I can find a used iphone or something.

Yeah that does happen because of the tracking, it also happens with iphones but not so strongly. The thing is that when you look down, your eyelids go down as if you were closing your eyes ^_^

Hey I have a question for you. I'm new to vtube studio, is there a way to combine expressions? For example, the rigger gave me a bunch of different parts like eyebrow toggles, pupil toggles, ect. Can i set say, an angry expression that auto toggles both the angry brows+ eyes at the same time?

It's not something you want to add in physics, because it's tracked! Please right click on your Eyeball X parameter and hit Edit parameter. Then check if the ID is EyeballX, do the same for Y!
