One thing ive found is on some of those that like to just look at it and stare, slowly raise your bait and if hes gonna bite thats when he will. Good way to separate the active fish from those that arent and not wasting time

Cool! thanks for the tip James!

Love the video. Great content. One question. Seen you are running at 8.2 volts. You ever run into problems with that voltage drop?
@GrandLakeGuy2 жыл бұрын
my unit was not reading 100% at the time, voltage wasn't really that low

What are your setting on your live scope?
@GrandLakeGuy4 жыл бұрын
I change them all the time. Mostly factory settings, blue screen color, I turn the gain up a little higher than normal so I can see my jig better. I also have the color gain set a little higher so the colors stick out more too. Other than that the only thing I change is gain, and that changes based on the water clarity of where I'm fishing. Hope that helps

Hey Paul! Another great video. Thanks for sharing. Paul, can you share your livescope settings, specifically; gain, noise reject, TVG and color gain? Thanks man. Jeff
@GrandLakeGuy4 жыл бұрын
I'll try to add that into the next video! Thanks Jeff!

I just got a 7 in do u think I will b able to use it
@GrandLakeGuy4 жыл бұрын
Yeah. You can. The smaller the screen, the harder it is to snipe them. But it can be done.

Nice video I have a bass tracker 165 pro what type of troll moto are using and I have the garmin Ecomap73sv And I'm thinking of getting a live scope what should I get And I'm on a budget lol
@GrandLakeGuy4 жыл бұрын
I would get a minn kota. Best one you can afford. Call a trolling motor repair store and tell them you want to buy a refurbished one. You can get them like new for half price this way.

Great video! I have the same xducr mount as you. I noticed you have your transducer turned up much more than one click. Is there an advantage to this in forward view?
@GrandLakeGuy4 жыл бұрын
I usually have it set to 30 - 45 when scanning for fish, structure. Then I dial it down to 20-25 when I fish

Can your unit support Active Captain? I find it to be very useful to share and to review for my review. Dennis on Lake Austin.
@GrandLakeGuy4 жыл бұрын
No, it's the 93. I'm getting the 12 so I can record.
@ryanrenshaw12134 жыл бұрын
Just found your channel been learning a lot. I notice you are using a looks like 1/8 or 1/4 oz egg weight above your jig. Do you always do that? Is there a reason for that?
@GrandLakeGuy Жыл бұрын
Yeah, it drops fast and stays straight down. Easier to control hair jig presentation as well
@buddybouknight72404 жыл бұрын
Have you tired Active Captain APP?
