What if you wanted a vocal track in a lo-fi beat? Wouldn't you need tape emulators and saturation to give it "that sound"?

An underutilized technique is to take the lead sound and reverse it for the intro. Not the whole thing, but it really makes the lead into a song more interesting and most people won't notice that it's just a reversed piece. For the people that don't want to spend money on RC20, if you have Max for Live you can use Pocket Color 2 instead, it's an amazing plugin.
