You don't need the gym when you run a firewood business. 💪

Ashton you are a rockstar. Not many girls can do what you are doing for Joe. I am totally impressed with your work ethic.

Thanks for the advice! I have very big pieces to load and no ramp…. Guess my first step is going to be to find a ramp to rent 😅

Never saw this before with a ramp but it makes sense. We just throw them in. Hope your fingers stay safe in all this.

Yeah they have got pinched before doing it like this.

I have ramps like that - need to use them more often. My son and I did this once, but we only used one ramp. Looks like two is the way to go. What year is your Silverado? Thinking 1999.5 - 2002. I have a 2002, Z71. Great truck but the bed is kind of high. Great video and great way to spend a good weather day!

That truck was a 2000 that was assembled in November 1999. It finally died on January 11, 2021 with 317,600 miles on it. Thanks for watching Steelcom66

Holy smokes! That's amazing, I 'only' have 192k on mine, hopefully it'll be like yours. Not usually my daily driver, but it has been while my car is in the shop! Great to have a truck with an 8' bed. Great video, I'll be watching more.

Good evening, I would greatly enjoy, along with other viewers, watching Ashton hopefully begin to use the chainsaw there, when the time is right for the same! I was Ashton's age, when I first handled and ran my Father's old Craftsman 14-Inch gas chainsaw, on the coast of Washington State, I LOVED and deeply enjoyed the experience! Ashton seems like she is more than eager and ready to begin running the chainsaw there, I greatly look forward to watching her learn how, thank you in advance for the same!

I’ve always thought it was easier to move the splitter to the wood rather than the wood to the splitter...
@Raven57633 жыл бұрын
I agree. Move the splitter, tilt and split large ones on the ground, no lifting.
@feegureeetout7 ай бұрын
Sometimes the wood must be moved out of where it lie. Cant always set a splitter up with limited time. Once i get big roumds home. Absolutely, move that splitter to the work.

Man O man, I'd be searching high and low for a Tommy lift gate, but then Iam 62 y.o.. Working or playing or just grabbing a meal, time with the son or daughter is time well spent

This system worked pretty good.

My 12 year old son used an old push mower handle with 3/8 lag bolts hammered through the holes into the center of rounds to pull rounds then a ratchet to remove the bolt after they were loaded.
@JoesFirewoodVideos4 жыл бұрын
You should make a video of it.

split the rounds in the woods with your wood spliter smaller split pieces easier to load and easier on the help n your back then just unload the split stuff when you get home not heavy rounds
