How to lock a Kontakt script

Hey! Thank you for this video! Could you help me please? I'll try to use this final version of your script, but something goes wrong. Literally on the fifth line. I use KONTAKT 6.7.1 without any additions or extensions. Could it be that I need to install something else on my PC for this script to work?

but some librarys even don't allow you to get into the Control panel, like Session Keys Grand S/Y. a gear icon take the place of the normal spanner icon, so how to do that? ps: in KOMPLETE KONTROL it's the same

You have to pay Native Instruments to do that.

Feras Hamido Because there isn't a way to do it through Kontakt scripting. You'd have to manually watermark the samples for each user or something.

This would be even more helpful if you showed the actual Kontact script as well as the sublime code. I prefer the Kontakt code over sublime :b

If your script is simple enough to be written in the KSP editor then I don't think you need to worry about locking it.

Nothing happens to the resource containers, if you're using them then they're there too.

Now I got confused. You showed that is possible to get the code by opening the rc.nkr text file, it’s right at bottom of the text. So, if you keep the .nkr file, you keep the code as well, don’t you?

This is built in to Kontakt. RIght-clicking on a control will bring up a menu where you can choose to add CC automation to that control.

Please I lot of people buy the library a good price but and we want share only with us that buy the product can you help me?

Without seeing the specific library I don't know. But you can't automate a button, only a switch

+Rick Bryan Hi, you need to add the function to your script and call it in on init - you'll need to be using Nils Liberg's script editor (or the Sublime Text 3 version) for this to work

hello from brazil, i suggest you create a script with a login screen, and the sample only can be access by password. if password is incorrect no sound is allowed. tks

So let me get this straight... One purchases a library for hundreds sometimes thousands of dollars and one can't modify what they have purchased to make if perform differently than its "factory" condition? You have got to be kidding...

Only the scripts cant be modified but you could replace them if you wanted - also the real truth is the kind of techniques I'm showing in this video can be bypassed pretty easily. Companies like Spitfire though seem to have some special deal with NI that allows them to lock their user's out of some of other controls.

Completely utterly pointless really. Doesn't protect the script at all, can still view it easily and even just remove this slider (not saying how so that company like yourself do not know how to fix...)
