I tried sniping once and anything over 400m stuff stops rendering and at 667+ meters enemies no longer render/spawn on xbox one. So id rather have a DMR and not go longer than 200m but anyway nice video as always ;)

The longest recorded sniper kill is 2.2 miles. Anything past 550 meters in this game the npc won’t render. Rendering limitations in games is killing potential for sniping.

Sniping has three major flaws in this game. 1. Most scopes blur at ridiculously short ranges 2. You can see the target but not the massive shipping container he's hiding behind. 3. Ubisoft I don't know why my stats say my longest range kill is 886m as at that range no moving figures are visible.

It works on some snipers, but short and/or light sniper rifles, not so much. The M83, HTI and Scorpio benefit greatly from this. Most DMR's also get a big range increase, up to 250m+

This is why compensation is key. Not all snipers rifles have great range. Aim above their head when youre at 500meters plus. I have a record of 933meter kill. No cap

It's a trade off. You have a huge world with lots of content, free roaming and seamless. You get that or you get gaming mechanics. Such as Sniper Elite 5, you have more scope options with zooming and other mechanics but the maps are relatively small.

Just wing it...with practice you'll get used to the adjustments needed and start doing it without thinking. With the perk he showed you won't experience much bullet drop up to 200/250 meters, just need to aim a tad bit up. From what I remember, there's a point where bullet drop just increases like crazy, somewhere around 500/600 m, I believe

On the tac50 noticeable drop is after 250 if you're going for a headshot. Exacts just takes time getting used, is the short answer. Long answer requires a video/chart pre rifle and scope combo.

It is easy to easy just place a marker and use the knots on your scope the 2 is 200 meters if from there if it is 250 u take 1.5 knots if u have high ground u can place the target on the red dot same with low ground but if the target is 100m+ away 200m is 4 it is easy if u are spotted/alerted u shoot 1 mag and reposition ez I got an headshot kill from 789m away that’s my record try breaking that

you have finest skillset as sniping in GR is a gimmick as there's no zooming variations on scope..bipod are none functional attachment..no bullet type variation apart from sharpshooter class.. it's ur individual skillset that visible 👍

I only play this game as a sniper long range and i can say that in game experience is not so good. You can make some kills over 330m, myself do that all time, but the game wasn't made to play like this, unfortnely. Over 350m, so many stufs in the scenario dont renderize wich make you don't see the enemies, the bullet drop is wierd, the system of meassure using the binocules is not working well over 350m. You don't have different ammos like in sniper ghost warrior franchise, the scopes don't have any kind of zoom adjustments. You can have so many funny moments sniping in this game, but there is other better options on the marke like sniper ghost warrior.

It doesn't matter. You're going to be changing out sniper rifles as you level up your gear often. So you'll get plenty of opportunities to figure out what weapons YOU like best. When people specify best, they are just calling out their opinions.

I have to comment, This game is so awesome... But, like you mentioned the bullet drop is so, so, so incorrect!!! A 5.56x45 can shoot at 35yrd out to 375yrds at a zero due to the bullet's spin rate and velocity!!! Next the reticles!!! These reticles are not correct by the MOA or mil-dots or hash lines... ect... If your reticle is zeroed at 100yrds then the next line should reference to 200, and 300, ect... This game has no true to life shooting or bullet drop/reticles, on the plus this game is so damn good, story, size of board, game life these make a game so damn good... Being a veteran, this game makes me cuss and yell because what my knowledge of shooting is it's so, so incorrect!!! I've beat this game in one of my PS accounts, so I started all over in my back up PS account, like Metal Gear Solid V Phantom Pain, so damn good... I can only wish that there was a military advisor that helped develop this game in all the departments mainly the sniper class???
