I can not look for address on my county recorder page. Only names. Am I looking into the the wrong place?

Check the county tax office by looking up your county name plus county tax office and then look or search property search

Hi there, in case of a bank lien (Mortgage), how can I find how much is still owed on the property?

there are softwares that you can use like propstream and dealmachine that will guess that based on when it was started. Or you can call the bank with permission from the seller. You can't tell exactly what is owed until you have the "payoff amount" from the bank.

You should also be able to request the document from the county records.

why do this when the title company already does this during the process of buying a home? I mean I used an agent so Im assuming this is for people who dont want to use an agent?

if you're trying to find liens on a property. You could just let a title company do this but In my experience relying on a title company to do their job cost me about $1.8M on my first potential "deal" So if you don't know how to do this, the title company can, but title insurance is what you can buy to cover your a** on the deal. I just don't like relying on other people to do their job when hundreds of thousands of dollars are potentially at risk. could be just me but just my two cents.

Hi Cri, you mentioned the judgement liens . If all the judgement lien are junior liens and first mortgage foreclose the property ,then all the junior judgement liens will be wipe out after foreclosure .Right ?

Yes that is correct except for IRS liens I believe

for insurance purposes? You mean when you're buying it or after you've bought it? If you're considering buying something make sure you have title insurance, if you've already bought it make sure you have landlord or business insurance to cover it.
