It's not important to drink lots of water. As science says, drink a minimum of 2-3 L of water. But if you drink a lot of water you urine more and if your urine is transparent it means that you are over hydrated. Drinking water depends on your height and weight! THANK ME LATER!!

Those who want me to stop comparing, look at the comment first it IS indirectly comparing saying that nobody in their imagination could be better looking than her it IS a comparison of her vs everyone else. There are so many negativities about aging especially for women. As a woman who almost 40, I just wanna say, you girls are gonna be alright. The more you get older the more you realize things that are more important than just staying youthful. Of course we keep taking care of ourselves Including our skin, but don't be obsessed. Aging gracefully.
@bingbong6323

right so why is looking younger so important enough to make a video about now?? i know obviously it's for many beauty standards that have been around for ages, but why are we reinforcing them? natural aging is SO lovely to me. as an 18 year old, an older beautiful woman that has clearly aged is still beautiful to me. looking 25 at 45 is great, but so is aging normally. it's okay to look your age. smile lines, forehead lines, and eye wrinkles are genuinely beautiful to me. i have smile lines and i LOVE them! it shows how much i smile and laugh. wrinkles are the etchings of life. my mother is very insecure of her wrinkles and "aged" face, and it hurts me so much seeing her complain about her gorgeous self that has given life to 5 of us. she is so beautiful.

yeah but most people don't age gracefuly. we age way tooo quick. it's not normal having wrinkles when you're only in your mid-early 30s. We heard from a very young age that it was normal to age like a raisin, but that's not true. Yes, we all get older, but the reason why we age so quickly is more due to our beliefs and our lifestyle. but yes, you're right, you should never be obsessed.

Medical aesthetician student here! If you’re UNDER 20, PLEASEEEE don’t use retinol! Not unless you’re already struggling with severe acne or hyperpigmentation. Having those will outweigh the consequences. If you already have normal skin or even just TINY or some spots, don’t use retinol! It just increases the chance of breaking your skin! Please just drink lots of water and use SPF! Sleeping on your back will also help not pull your face to one side due to gravity!

Yes so true, not everyone gets to grow old. But if we can prevent some wrinkles I’m not saying all wrinkles, it would help your self esteem as you grow older. Just don’t make it a priority to look young or an obsession. I’m 35 I teach my 15 year old and 9 year old to wear sunscreen daily even if it rains just so they can also take into account to take care of their skin. I’ve told them it’s so you can feel good about yourself, taking care of you skin is a form of self care those 15 minutes you wash your face and do your skin care is your time to relax and focus on you.
@Moya3003
@Moya3003 6 ай бұрын
@@barbie9776 I have hormonal acne and it's all over my face, but I've started using acne creams a few weeks ago. But I'm not doing it to look prettier, I'm doing it because my skin deserves care. Yeah people are rude sometimes, even my own parents keep telling me I should wash my face whenever they see me. Though I wash it twice a day. 😅 You're absolutely right, sunscreen protects our skin from harmful rays, we should take care of our skin and keep it clean. I just think that the concept of self esteem, for most people, depends entirely on beauty standards. We should have a high self esteem regardless of whether we have wrinkles or not. People are trying so hard to prevent aging, they're telling young girls to stop crying or smile less because they'll end up getting wrinkles. It's sad, honestly, what people do for beauty that won't come with them to the grave.

Y'all the advices are great to prevent skin aging but be careful while using retinol!! its use is recommended after 25 years old because of the aggressive treatment it does to the skin, if you're younger it might cause the opposite effect. Also put it on at night and DO NOT go outside if there is sunlight, it can cause chemical burns and make your skin dry!! ❤

Retinol is a very strong ingredient and it's not a magical cure it all that turns off aging and it also have many side effects, sometimes quite harsh. There is no reason to use it in your 20s if you don't have any issues with your skin yet, retinol doesn't prevent them, it fixes them

That's it, people don't realize it's much more mental than physical. It's also a matter of character. I read once something like: "when you are in your 20s, people can read youth on face; as you grow older, people can read the character on your face". It's lifestyle and habits, but it's also what you think everyday and how much you let stress take over you or not. As for cosmetics...nothing more damaging for your skin. Cosmetics should be reduced to minimum and only natural products, minerals etc.

As a 35yo who regularly gets told I look way younger than I am I can not stress enough how important a (moderately) healthy diet is. Two hands full of veggies and one of fruit every day. Cook it, steam it make a stew, eat the fruit or make a smoothie it doesn’t really matter that much but I kinda go by the rule of having half my plate being veggies,a quarter protein and a quarter carbs. Cut low on sodium ( very hard for me), sugar and don’t drench everything in cream or dressing. It sounds like a burden but it’s really only hard in the beginning. Once it’s in your routine it’s easy and you can and should still eat fast food or dessert ( if you want) just not all the time 💜 Last but not least: stay active! Activity keeps your metabolism running and your body healthy.

"Sleep in an upright position"! I've been voluntarily doing this since I was 20. I didn't do it on purpose, it just happened one day when I was too tired to find a Pillow to fall asleep & I just fell asleep on the Mattress without any pillow. After waking up from that restful sleep, I saw myself in the mirror & noticed that my face is looking quite plump & chubby, just the way it looked in my childhood!! My skin felt plump & tightened, looked fresh, healthy & radiant. I didn't require any makeup because my face & skin were looking so fresh that day! Thats when I decided I'm never going to use a Pillow again! It's been 4 years since I've started sleeping without a Pillow & believe me, it works Wonders!! Not only for your skin & face, but also for your health! Sleeping without a pillow ensures equal blood flow throughout the body from head to toe, which actually helps in improving your health+looks 😉 A good 8 - 9 hours of sleep without a pillow is true "Beauty Sleep"!! It helps to naturally fill out any hollowness in the face, just like a Filler. But a completely natural Filler which will never ruin your looks, but will only improve them!!! In these 4 years, I've gotten so used to sleeping without a Pillow, that now it feels very uncomfortable to use a Pillow. I am unable to relax if there is a Pillow under my head 😂

Don't smoke or vape. No drugs period unless it's from a doctor and even then see if their is a non-pharmacy alternative. Limit your drinking. If you do drink always have water with it. You'll be peeing like a race horse, but your liver and skin will thank you. Get your 8 hours of sleep. Eat well. And most of all don't do plastic surgery too soon. Look at Kylie, she did it too soon.

I'm going to be 27 this year and I keep being asked for my ID for alcohol, lottery tickets, etc because they think I look around 18 and they tell me that. I never used retinol. Please don't put chemicals like that on your face from such a young age of 20. Just sleep well, massage your face when you cleanse it, eat well at least most times, just do what's best and natural for you. Retinol is too powerful for 20 year old skin and there's no point in using it. There are better aging preventative methods for that age. Use retinol when you're older than that.

@@stroberingo19 Vitamin A quickens your cellular turnover. And if you use it when your cells are turning over faster than they ever will because you're young, it will quicken the aging process it- not slow it down. You're exhausting your skin before it's even reached it's peak. I don't recommend people start using retinol until they're, at minimum, 25. Signed, A medical Aesthetician and Laser tech

She looks her age. And at the same time … like when an older lady tries to look younger by wearing something that’s maybe not age appropriate? So it makes them look older just bc they’re trying too hard? Feels like so many gen z girls look that way. They age themselves clinging on to this youth they believe they’ve already lost.

Society has always had this wierd problem where aging is seen as a bad thing. I LOVE SEEING PEOPLE AGE!! Middle aged people are gorgeous (without any plastic surgery). Seniors look great too! Old people are the best!! Aging is beautiful. Not shaming those who want to look younger but we should learn to embrace aging and looking older it's wonderful and a part of life!! (also, trying to look younger when you're in your 20s seems a little wierd to me because why do you want to look like a teenager.. to attract creepy men?? There is nothing wrong with looking your age I never understood why people want to look like children so bad)

Make sure when you start retinol (after 30 sometime) especially for dry skin girls that you start slow with once a week then twice a week then three times a week if skin permits. You don’t want to damage your barrier by using it every night. You can even mix it with your evening moisturizer if you have sensitive skin. And always remember if you are using Retinol (vitamin A) to never expose yourself to direct sunlight or you will damage your skin even if you wear SPF.

One tip: careful do not and I repeat DO NOT put retinal anywhere near your mouth though (like mustache and chin area) because you will dry out and damage your skin in the long term. You're so right about the sunscreen. I only started in my late 30s!! Huge difference!! Wish I did it decades ago! Like every two hours style and on your hands. Other one is moisturiser at least 4 times a day and I use a natural retinol at night if I have some. I couldn't NOT wear makeup when I was 16! Now I barely wear much and skin is much better. Chris Gibson on yt is great for anti ageing skin advice and hes who got me into retional and sunscreen... The blokes almost sixty and looks 30. PS I'm in Australia so it was pretty dumb I wasn't doing the sunscreen thing. I use to go to tanning beds 🙄

24 is still so very young and years before showing any signs of age. Great advice but much comes down to genetics and environment/lifestyle. Plenty of 35 year olds do these things and don't look 25, while others still look young despite not using retinol or caring about diet.. genes baby. Also eventually you *do* need in-office treatments it makes such a difference. But I'm white, and everyone says we age terrible so 🤷‍♀️

The number 1 tip no one ever seems to mention: stop caring about age. Stop making it a thing. Stop identifying so strongly, judging yourself and others. Stop obsessing. Just take care of yourself and love yourself and others. Millennials have a lot of the same privileges gen z have now (access to information, knowledge, better products and lifestyle) but they didn’t have this level of age obsession in our teens/20s that gen z have. And I think it shows, physically and psychologically. Big generalisation but I think there’s something to this.
