What a great hat solves the bump in the hat issues that my girls have when the put their hair in a ponytail. Thanks so much for sharing.

Your videos are the BEST! So clear and easy to follow. You do a great job of demonstrating techniques without unnecessary chatter! The way you show each step and have the instructions captioned on the screen makes learning fun... and not at all intimidating. You're an excellent teacher, knitter and videographer! And an inspiration to me! Thank you, Tuteate.

Hello Stacey Harrell ! :) Thank you! The crochet patterns cannot become loom patterns (the stitches are different), but you will see that the loom patterns are very similar to needle knitting patterns (but we always work on the right side when looming, while we turn our work on one side and the other when we do the standard knitting).

Love this Ponytail Hat Tutorial. I have been watching your tutorials and they are great. I can't hold my crochet needles anymore due to arthritis so the loom has a great thing to have. But now I have all of these patterns. Do you know of any way to change these patterns into Loom patterns.???

Hi ! I really love your videos, your channel is one of the few that have detailed instructions that go along with all of your videos :) I am new to the loom knitting world and I have been SEARCHING for a good LOOM knitting channel to subscribe to. Most yarn crafter's only use crochet hooks for their project's, but I'm definitely not skilled enough to do that :) ! If you could do more tutorials on loom knitting animals that would be amazing :) Thank you so much for your hard work and hopefully you will like my suggestion.

Tuteate I agree! That would be very fun to try! :) and by the way I really enjoy your videos, I used to think there was only one way to make a beanie/hat, which was the simple knitting pattern. Now you've showed me so many different deigns, Thank You! :D

Oh, I almost forgot: I have a 40 peg loom, not a 41 peg. Will my loom mess up the way this hat comes out, or will I just have to alter your instructions a little? Also, what would happen if I used a 36 peg loom? Thank you so much. You really are the best at teaching loom knitting. I have referred several confused loom knitters to you!😀

If I us the U-Wrap or Flat stitch instead of the E-Wrap for my knit stitch will it be compatible with this hat? I prefer the look of the U-Wrap better than the E-Wrap. Thanks for taking the time to make such awesome videos ;)

Could I do this on a smaller loom? The 41 peg is to big for my head and the hats are loose.
@Tuteate6 жыл бұрын
Hi Amanda! You can follow these same directions on a smaller loom. However, if your hats come out loose, I think that is a matter of yarn weight (your yarn is too thin). You could try using bulky yarn... or 2 or 3 strands of your yarn at the same time

I’m a total newbie. When you say 46 combos of knit and purl rows, does that mean 46 rows total (23 knit, 23 purls) or do you mean 46 combos (46 knits, 46 purls)? Want to get this hat done for a Christmas present. Thank you!
@Tuteate6 жыл бұрын
Hi Tami, by 1 combo I meant 1 row of knits + 1 row of purls, so 46 combos would be 46 times "1 row of knits + 1 row of purls" (there will be 46 rows of knits alternated with 46 rows of purls) .
