Reminds me of when l was Learning knots when I used to be in the Scouts! I've still got a book of it somewhere, some of them were quite complicated to tie!

I know that this is an older video, but I figured I mention it. This video has been tagged by KZbin. I believe it may also be age restricted. It won’t play right away, and displays a warning message that this video shows “something” that may cause “self harm”. Also, speaking of the first knot (loop) that you demonstrated, there really is no record of actual use of it in a real execution. It’s not actually called a “hangman’s noose”, it’s just called basically a sliding loop. The hangman’s noose is in Ashley’s Book of Knots, and is totally different. What would you think of using a uni-knot used for tying to fishing tackle for a magnet?

Cool knots drasticg! Fun to watch. Reminded me of being a kid on the farm and practicing knots with baler twine.

drasticg not sure. The fuel pump and water pump both went out on my truck. As soon as that's repaired, I will be out and about.

O no hopefully you can get a speedy recovery although that's good timing to start live streaming lol if you ever do schedule it so people get notice in advance and get savana on as it's easier railing with other people

drasticg I have the fuel pump replaced and should have the water pump replaced soon as well. I thought I might try a live stream when I get to 100 subs and I still have 4 more to go. I am not a very social person by nature so I am a bit nervous about it.

What's better double or single magnet?
@drasticg6 жыл бұрын
Hi singles are better for the edges of canals and jettys and heavy objects as long as the pull strength is high enough Doubles are the best if your chucking the magnets out and dragging them back as they lay flat to the ground Singles tip on there edge if you drag them so that's why they are best in an up and down motion I have a video demonstrating what I'm waffling about ha ha

I do not tye knots on my magnets. I make eye splices in my good quality ropes and atach them by putting the eye splice through eyebolt and putting the other end of the rope through the eye splice.
@drasticg6 жыл бұрын
Does it have to be the 3 core rope for that
