@ifah.3 жыл бұрын
hello! i'm glad this video was helpful :D for postcards, you can sandwich them with cardboard! depending on how many postcards you are sending in one mail, the weight may differ. usually it wouldn't exceed 100g so $0.60 stamps are safe enough! if you are still unsure about the postage rates, you can refer to it here (standard regular/standard large envelopes): www.singpost.com/postage-rate i hope my reply helps!! feel free to reply again if you have more questions :)

Hi thanks for the video! it is very helpful! May I know where to get the plastic sleeve? Is it necessary to put the pc in plastic sleeve if I don't have it? And also for the bubble wrap, is the post office sell it on per sheet basis? Thanks for the reply! :)
@ifah.3 жыл бұрын
Hi! Plastic sleeves can be bought online and some Carousellers also sell them. If not, some Daiso outlets sell these sleeves, or you could try checking out board game/card game shops. To me, it is necessary to protect the card with a sleeve to avoid any disputes with the buyer/trader just in case the pc is damaged upon arrival. It's also basic courtesy to protect pc with a plastic sleeve. As for bubble wrap, the post office sells them on a per sheet basis. You can check the dimensions and price on their website here ( www.singpost.com/shop/packing-materials-post-office ) Hope it helps (:

Hello! May i ask after packaging with toploader, cupboard and bubblewrap, what stamp ($0.30? $0.60?) do u normally use to suffice for the weight?

From my experience, a $0.30 stamp is enough :) You can use a $0.60 one if you feel unsure though, better to pay slightly extra than have your mail not be sent out at all!

hello! another question so sorry, for stamps, how would we purchase 2nd local stamps? how many stamps do we put if the weight exceeds the 2nd local range?

You can also purchase them at the SAM kiosk, the Singpost online website, or even at the post office counter. If it exceeds the range, I think that would be considered standard large mail so you can just refer to the postage rates here www.singpost.com/send-receive/sending-within-singapore/postage-rate !

awesome video, thanks for sharing!! just to check, if something i’m mailing is 90 cents, it is safe for me to use 3 1st local stamps?
@ifah.3 жыл бұрын
Hi :) I would not recommend doing that! 1st local stamps are equivalent to 30 cents but you cannot stack them to amount to 90 cents. I would suggest that you purchase a 90 cents stamp directly from the SAM Kiosk or stack three 30 cents stamps (although that would be quite messy)

Hi late reply here. Longest for me is 3 week. Take note this was during holiday period. Try at least avoid mailing/buying nearing holiday period especially christmas,new year & CNY since this are majorly always have long holiday. Try also avoid mailing on friday. Latest thursday evening before their pick up,which can be random timing. Which is why i prefer to mail at post office for better result since postbox usually take time as mailman need to collect. So by the time mailman reach main HQ,the mails would be in later batch,which mean even if you post on thursday,the receiver might received on monday/tuesday. Best day are usually Monday-thursday.
