HOW TO MAINTAIN A ROTAX 915

Our bitter sweet visit to the aircraft during lockdown.
After 50 days of the Corona Virus lockdown, we decided to pay a visit to my taildragger in order to do some preventative maintenance on the Rotax 915is engine. Even though it is not a necessary requirement as per the Rotax Maintenance Schedule, we needed a bit of aviation in our blood again albeit from the ground.
Whilst visiting the aircraft, I had a thorough look over all the moving parts, ie the flight control surfaces & engine components. We also started the aircraft to make sure that there was sufficient charge coming from the battery and also to move the oil within the cylinders.
We really hope to be up in the air again sometime soon and flood your KZbin feed with some awesome flying videos.
