This could potentially make for a good series. The goal would be to earn the next bond each 2 weeks, but the catch is you can't use the money making methods you used in the previous weeks. (Maybe this restriction only for bonds so you can progress the account to unlock other money making methods). It would end when you would be unable to earn a bond anymore. This series would get more and more interesting with each episode, because you would have to get more creative with the money making methods the further you go. You could also limit the series length by choosing how many money making methods you ban from previous weeks (for example ban 1 method for long series, ban all methods for shorter series). Just slap a good name for the series and you're set!

I like it in terms of making this idea into a series but it would mostly be for fun and a challenge. My goal with this video was showing people and newer players some decent ways to make money while also progressing your account. If I keep going for more obscure methods every week it would eventually turn into Soups series of most unique money making methods and most of them aren't very efficient to do but it sounds fun haha

Definitely. Mixture of artisan skilling, marching, training with profit, bosses, pking, etc. And that's excluding social engineering (turning into girl, drop parties, random trading), hiring runners or employees/noobs (someone could totally test if F2P essence running is still even somewhat profitable), etc. Could easily be a 3 to 6 month series with twists along the way (different bosses, questing, soft lock to an island, no GE for a week, no bank for a week, etc) In a similar vein, I would love to see a soft lock escape video series on day. Sail to an island with no resources...can someone get out?

Another good tip is to play the game, get used to it and train the F2P skills to base 30 or 40s before becoming a member. You'll definitely be less efficient in F2P, but you'll spend less time doing research on the Wiki while the P2P is running out.

I have pretty much 70s combat and 50-60 in all other F2P skills except RC. I have enough money for 1 bond but I haven’t pulled the trigger bc I’m not sure how long it would take for me to make back the money. I only play about an hour a day unless it’s super afk like combat training in security dungeon level afk. What would you suggest I do to start in members in order to make back some of that cash and progress on members?

@@MoChuang343 there are a few videos out there telling how to maintain members while playing P2P, I think osrsflipping and Verf have good ones. I had never played P2P until a few years ago and when I finally pulled the trigger I realized I didn't know how to play the game and was overwhelmed by content, quests, skills and money makers. If I were in your position, I would buy the first month of P2P with real money so that you can basically learn how to play the game (again). The best money makers will require high level P2P skills and/or P2P quests done. A consistent money maker unlocks at level 70 Fletching by stringing yew longbows. For more profit, cut the bows yourself from yew logs. And for even more profit, high alch the longbows instead of selling them in the GE. 70 fletching is easy to get but click intensive, but there are tons of money makers in the game. Regardless of what you decide, definitely play P2P for a bit, because it's almost a different game.

I'd say while there's a big margin in the cash stack for another bond, the play time per day of 4.6 hrs is probably a bit above average and taking into account the efficiency you have from being so experienced at the game, it's probably not worth it for the average player to sustain membership with bonds unless maintaining it without paying IRL money gives them fulfilment. Of course later on when an account is much more progressed to get efficient access to mid/late game moneymakers, I'd recommend anyone at least consider switching over to upkeeping membs with GP. Sure, 130m a year (at the best rate) is a big ask, but once you have a Bowfa and a fang and such, you'll make back 130m in 2 weeks

You could always cut down on the account progress and focus more on money, for example doing revs for 1 week or implings for 1 week and skip farming, you be set for a while even if you play less hours

thats why he made almost 2 bonds in 3 days played time. So there is a large buffer there for casual players. You also don't need to do 90% of whats in this video, just focus on implings and youll afford a bond within 1day played time

I noticed that you can buy impling jars for around 700gp and catch baby implings real quick and easily in puro puro at 17 hunter and sell them (basically instantly) for 1700gp, doubling your money and it takes less than 5mins per full inventory if you use lumbridge teleports for the bank

Guys I know some of you will not want to do this, but I have a good way to maintain a bond in 30-45 mins a day: Keep your rs3 account level 3 and do a croesus reaper every day (you will need some stats and 1k total) The reaper points alone will get you a bond, and the normal and rare drops are a bonus! I know some of you are scared of rs3 but you know.. it'd take less than an hour a day instead of a couple hours.

Just check the market for any of these methods, sometimes they don't profit. After 19 hours I finally got 6.4m to buy a bond. I am at 169QP (91/156 done) and 1000 total as of today. 30m bank, lots of herb runs, and making unf pots

I've been maintaining a bond on an account i've been playing passively simply with Farming and Birdhouses, usually get enough to get 2 or 3 bonds for a single bond. huge part of it is honestly Yannillian hops. not the best EXP but the profit is decent enough. took a break from cracking bonds after achieving 99 farming.

Bone bolts are nice and cheap for ironmen, but on a main account you can buy mithril darts for 2/3 the price and go from an attack speed of 4 ticks down to 2 ticks.

fletching is also a very nice one. dont need to do much. just make arrow shafts. add feathers. cost is about 1gp per shaft. 3 per feather so 1+3=4 sell this for 8/9 and u double cash. makes 300k an hour. takes zero effort. but its a bit time wasting as it takes 20 hours of work. but over 2 weeks it should be doable. i do mine during other games. easiest bond.

I would say for any new players to just try and get some starting cash with casual money making methods since most new players are not familiar with the game. Things like Farming on the side and then maybe hunting implings, crafting jewelry, doing Blast Furnace etc. This video makes a lot more sense for people who look things up beforehand and only play for efficiency. Some casual enjoyment is enough to maintain the bond through the things I mentioned. Maybe add some other thingies into that mix to make it more enjoyable.

Just buy 10 rev cave tps 100k once you get good items, you bank it immediately and it just acrues❤ I went from wealth ring to archers and coif to Robin glory to fury… in a single night. Altho I will say luck had something to do with it, but revs are also very good money and decent xp.

the dumb thing about the eco of runescape is that for me i got my first million by just selling arrow shafts. ya its only like 23g per but when you are making around 30 or so per craft it adds up. basically all i did was go around cutting down the highest tree i could and that i could still craft shafts with. i think the highest i managed to sell shafts for at any given point was around 30gp which when its normally around 20 thats a insane increase. tends to give me uh....maybe 200k a hour? but i would be cutting trees and making shafts for a hour straight which isnt the most fun thing to do

It's called a Looting Bag, it lets you store 28 items you pick up in the wilderness. That way you can fill your inventory with food, potions, and weapons while only using 1 inventory slot for drops. Any monster in the wilderness can drop one which is why he was killing level 1 rats to get it.

You can skip it if you want and go hunter instantly, this video is just to give some ideas. You dont really need to prayer flick against revs and most of the times I died to pkers as well. You still make a lot of money if you dont stay to long, even new players and with dying to pkers
