How to Maintain School Fee in Excel

To maintain school fees in Excel, you can follow these steps:
1. Open Microsoft Excel and create a new workbook.
2.In the first row, create column headings for the different components of the school fee, such as tuition, books, transportation, etc.
3.In the second row, enter the corresponding amounts for each component.
4.In the third row, create a column heading for the total amount.
5. In the first cell of the third row, use the SUM function to add up the amounts in each column. For example, if the tuition fee is in cell B2, the books fee is in cell C2, and the transportation fee is in cell D2, the formula for the total amount would be "=SUM(B2:D2)".
6. Format the cells as currency to display the amounts in the correct format.
7. You can add more rows for each payment made, with columns for the payment date, payment amount, and any outstanding balance.
8. Use conditional formatting to highlight any outstanding balances in red, to easily identify which fees are overdue.
9. To calculate the remaining balance, subtract the total amount paid from the total amount due.
10. Save the workbook and update it regularly to keep track of payments and balances.
With these steps, you can easily maintain school fees in Excel and keep track of payments and balances.
